About this cottage rental
Silhouette's Stable is a beautifully appointed semi-detached luxury two bedroom cottage for up to 5 guests (4 adults max). Set in characterful but contemporary converted stable buildings, it sits on the edge of a wildlife meadow in the heart of rural Sussex. Set in grounds of nearly 100 acres with woodland, you can enjoy the full benefits of their rural landscape, with birdsong and stunning sunsets that can be viewed from your decked outside terraces or private hot tub. Each stable has it's own private hot tub and garden.
A stylish two bedroom property with a great outdoor space offering; outdoor festoon lighting, charcoal BBQ grill, comfy outdoor sofas, lavender and herb filled planters and private hot tub. Luxurious bedding, linen and towels provided for each unique bedroom. Board games and cosy blankets in front of the log burner for winter nights. Free WIFI and Smart TV with netflix ensures there's entertainment for everyone. Large, well appointed kitchen with fridge/freezer, induction hob and oven and dishwasher. Open plan kitchen dining area with large bespoke made Oak dining table and feature pendant lights. Comfy leather sofas to settle in to for long conversations by the wood fired burner. Washing machine, airer and iron provided for all eventualities. Dogs are welcome subject to approval by the owners and adherence to terms, 1 dog per booking only.
Our properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 12 guests. Lucky's Stable is a three bedroomed property with a great outdoor space offering an outdoor kitchen complete with brick chimneyed fireplace/barbeque, comfy outdoor sofas and lavender filled planters. Silhouette's Stable is a two bedroomed property with hot tub and has everything you need for a great holiday. We may also provide z beds for further flexibility for young children, please contact us when booking if you require these.

A beautifully appointed cottage with excellent facilities was perfect for our weekend break.
More than a home from home!
Comfort was downgraded from excellent to good as the beds are small doubles and the mattresses uncomfortable which was not ideal for us.

Silhouette’s Stable was absolutely brilliant. The interior appeared to be new or recently renovated, featured lovely equestrian touches, and was spotless. It was spacious and well-equipped with ample cozy seating, a smart TV, and a wonderful wood burner.
Property Highlights
The Garden: This was a highlight even in February. It features a patio and landscape turf, which ensured it was not muddy and remained clean even in the rain.
Security: The enclosure is secure so that even small dogs can safely run around without the fear of an escape.
The Hot Tub: This is the primary highlight and is treated daily.
Location and Atmosphere
The property is in an excellent location with a great deal to do. Alternatively, you can snuggle by the fire with a glass of wine and watch a movie.
Exceptional Hospitality
The host, Sarah, was just as lovely as the cottage. She ensured that we had a wonderful stay. Communication was strong and clear; she has a way of providing everything you need in an unobtrusive manner. For example, an additional order of wood was left by the patio door so soundless that it was as if Santa’s elves had delivered it.
Final Impression
The property and Sarah were so lovely, and we had such a nice stay, that we are definitely returning in the warmer weather. It is truly the perfect retreat. We wanted for nothing.

We love the stables. Beautifully decorated property, with everything you could possibly need and a fabulous hot tub. Owners are incredibly accommodating. A real treat for the family, and we will be back again!

We have stayed in another property on this sight a couple of times so know it’s in a great location. Silhouette’s Stable did not disappoint! It was spotlessly clean and very bright and airy. The kitchen is very well equipped and the garden area makes for a lovely outside dining space on sunny days. The inside of the property is very well maintained and has everything you need for a well earned and relaxing holiday - highly recommended - Thank you Sarah & team for a great stay!
