Beautiful log cabin nestled in the woods between Silver Lake and Pentwater. Great family vacation site. We have deeded access to 750 feet of private association beach. While not directly on the waterfront, it's a very short 3 minute stroll to the stairs leading to our beautiful beach. (Google Maps show a 7 minute drive, but that is inaccurate!) We keep 4 plastic adirondack chairs on the beach all summer for your convenience. You can walk for miles north or south.
You'll find that our cabin is equipped with everything you'll need for an awesome family vacation: an outdoor firepit, gas grill, games, beach toys, Wi Fi access, a large flat screen TV with ROKU availability. We have a cozy screened in porch as well as 2 decks and a covered front porch complete with rocking chairs.
Ten minutes in your car will land you either at Silver Lake to the south or Pentwater to the north.
Pentwater Pathways are a short drive - beautiful groomed cross country ski trails in the winter and hiking/biking trails spring, summer and fall.
For a great biking experience the whole family can enjoy, visit the 22 mile paved Hart Montague Rail Trail.

Just an incredible place to stay. Everything need3d was provided. The house is quiet, warm (awesome fireplace), comfortable and just a 100 yard walk to the stairs to Lake Michigan with a gracious and courteous host to boot. We have stayed in many places on VRBO, this is hands down the most prepared house we have ever stayed in. We didn’t need to bring or buy a thing. Thank you again, we plan to rent this place again soon.

We’ve made staying a week at Cedarwood Cabin and annual event. It’s the best of both worlds- beach and cabin in the woods. We have a bigger dog, so finding a place that will take him WAS difficult. We found the perfect place!

Love staying here. So many wonderful nooks to do a puzzle, curl up with a book, watch the wildlife, just relax. Spent most days on the beach, grandkids loved it.
