About this apartment rental
Two-room apartment for 2 people: ground floor or first floor, living room, kitchenette, double room, bathroom with shower or Bathtub. Private outdoor area / terrace. Approximately 50sqm. Wi-Fi at the reception.
The winery is located in the heart of the “Chianti Classico” just 13 km from Siena. It is an idyllic place, surrounded by its vineyards and olive groves, ideal for a relaxing vacation, far from the pollution and chaos of everyday life. The property consists of a castle and the houses of the farmers who cultivated the land for the local masters. These farmhouses are now an idyllic holiday resort.
There is a room for wine tasting (world famous Chianti wines as well as Vin Santo and olive oil), Wi Fi at the reception. In addition, in a beautiful location, a swimming pool (16x7, open mid May-October), gazebos, barbecue area and lots of relaxation. At the castle, 250 from the apartments, there is also a small church, available for wedding ceremonies.
Distances: the next village for grocery shopping and restaurant is approx. 5 km away (Vagliagli), supermarket in Siena 13 km. San Gimignano 40km, Volterra 55km, Montalcino 55km, Pienza and Montepulciano just over 70km, Florence about 70km.
Gas, electricity, water, bed linen, towels, baby bed, WiFi at the reception are included.

They did not have our reservation when we checked in even tho I provided a confirmation. There was only one other couple staying there and it took them an hour to finally decide to get our room ready. The road into the property was in poor shape and they asked us to park in an area that was tall grass. There was a very thin bedspread on the beds so I would recommend bringing a blanket depending on when you are going. The positive things are that it was very quiet and the room was quite large. In the bathroom you could shower with the window open and see great views. It was about 20 minutes to the next store so pick up some food and espresso powder. We did not swim because the weather was not warm enough but the pool looked well Maintained.
