Beautiful home in a peaceful location. The trail by the house is a nice path and has a rope swing. The views of Mt. Hood never get old. Lots to do in the area- highly recommend Fruit Loop and Hood River.

The house is lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable, the area is beautiful.One suggestion: the south-facing windows in the living room REALLY need window coverings to protect from the sun. There were several hours each day when the glare made it impossible to sit facing that way. Given how nicely appointed the house is, this seems like a serious ommission. Two other notes: 1) We were surprised to find that the loft was inaccessible; the ladder was pulled up and locked with a bike lock. We didn't need the extra bed, but we were never asked if we needed access and it would have been awkward if we had counted on using the bed in that area. 2) There is an odd architectural feature -- an opening between the kitchen and the stairway to the lower floor. So sound from the second floor goes directly downstairs. This can be a problem if someone (like a toddler) is trying to sleep downstairs and people are in the living room or kitchen.
