It sounds clichéd, but sitting with a long cold drink on the sun terrace, soaking up the valley view, the whisper of the wind through the forest of oak & the birdsong dancing from tree to tree, we defy you not to find peace from your hectic home and work life. But getting back to nature doesn't mean you can't listen to some good music on the outdoor speaker system. Or keep up-to-date with the wi-fi. It also doesn't mean you have work around ancient facilities - you'll find a modern, well equipped kitchen that's a joy to use. You'll also find 2 modern bathrooms, with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. There's a TV and DVD player, but to be honest you'll spend most of your waking hours out on the bbq terrace, or walking down to our stretch of the River Loup where you'll find a little pic nic area. The unspoilt village of Gréolières is 4kms along the valley where you'll find a selection of restaurants and shops.

Our 4 night stay at this property was delightful for many reasons:
Our host, Nik, was communicative. She booked us into a local restaurant, at my request. This made for a lovely first evening. Roger showed us the house on arrival and checked us out too. He too was courteous and helpful.
The house is very well equipped, with everything in good condition.
The location is beautiful and tranquil. Sitting on the extensive patio listening to birdsong and looking out over the valley and hills…was a treat at any time of day or night.
The village of Gréolières (approx 2km away) is a quiet gem.
This house is ideal for friends/family to enjoy a rural retreat and rest in the beauty of the area. We loved it.
