About this house rental
Designed for holidays with family or friends, the house can accommodate up to 8 guests in a setting that is comfortable, natural and unspoilt. Here, you can enjoy the tranquillity of Provence, the cool shade of the trees, meals on the terrace, a dip in the swimming pool and the proximity of the Côte d’Azur.
The house is spread over two floors and offers spacious rooms with authentic Provençal charm: terracotta floors, a fireplace, generous living areas, terraces and views of the garden. Wi-Fi (fibre optic), bed linen and towels included – we’re just waiting for you!
On the ground floor, you’ll find:
– A double living room with sofas, armchairs, a TV and a fireplace, ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing or swimming.
– A large, fully-equipped kitchen with a dining area: oven, microwave, hob, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and everything you need for cooking during your stay.
– Bedroom 1: a queen-size bed (160x200) (two single beds pushed together, which can be separated)
– Bedroom 2: a king-size bed (180x200) (two single beds pushed together, which can be separated)
– A bathroom with a bath and toilet.
– A separate toilet.
On the first floor, you will find:
– Bedroom 3: a double bed (140×190).
– Bedroom 4: a king-size bed (180x200) (two single beds pushed together, which can be separated)
– A bathroom with shower and bath.
– A separate toilet.
For even greater comfort, you can make use of the following additional facilities: barbecue, high chair, washing machine, cot, plancha, tumble dryer, fan, ironing board and iron.
Outdoors:
One of the house’s great assets is its outdoor space. The private, enclosed garden of 5,000 m² offers a natural, peaceful and unspoilt setting, with beautiful trees, terraced gardens and several areas to relax in.
In particular, you’ll enjoy:
– A private, unheated 5×11m swimming pool with a shallow and a deep end, secured by an alarm and a gate, open from 1 April to 1 October, weather permitting.
– Several terraces for dining, reading or relaxing.
– A barbecue and a plancha for summer meals.
– A terraced garden, deliberately maintained in a natural and authentic style to preserve the Provençal character of the property.
The house is ideally situated in Saint-Cézaire-sur-Siagne, in a very pleasant setting. You’ll find all the essential shops nearby, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars and a market…
Activities:
– Nature lovers can enjoy the many hiking and mountain-biking trails in the Grasse hinterland, explore the Pont des Tuves, the caves of Saint-Cézaire or take in the magnificent panoramic views from the hilltop villages of Cabris, Gourdon and Tourrettes-sur-Loup.
– Culture vultures can visit Grasse, the world capital of perfume, with its historic perfumeries (Fragonard, Galimard, Molinard), museums and historic centre.
– Sports enthusiasts will also find plenty of activities nearby: golf, tennis, horse riding, rock climbing, canyoning, paragliding, cycling, water sports along the coast, or even swimming in the region’s rivers and natural sites.
– In winter, several ski resorts in the Southern Alps, notably Gréolières-les-Neiges, Audibergue-La Moulière, Auron and Isola 2000, are accessible for day trips.
Transport:
If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the garage (one car and one motorbike) and in the house’s private car park (seven vehicles)
As for other modes of transport, here is some information that you may find useful:
- A car is strongly recommended to make the most of the region and to easily reach the surrounding shops, villages and tourist attractions.
- For travellers wishing to use public transport, the village is served by the Sillages bus network, which connects Saint-Cérique-sur-Siagne to Grasse, where the SNCF railway station is located, providing connections to Cannes and the entire Côte d’Azur coastline. Lines B and C of the Sillages network provide regular services to Grasse
- Nearest railway station: Grasse, a 20-minute drive away
- Nearest airport: Nice Côte d’Azur, an hour’s drive away
To ensure your stay is as pleasant and comfortable as possible, this property is managed in partnership by the teams at Cocoonr (a listing and booking management service) and a local concierge service, Isa Belle'Villa.
Other notes:
– Bed linen and towels included.
– Small and medium-sized pets are welcome, subject to a supplement of €15 per pet per stay. Maximum of two pets (cat or dog); please specify this when booking.
– The kitchen fireplace is operational from November to March; the first fire is complimentary.
– There is an outdoor camera at the villa’s entrance gate. It will be deactivated for the duration of your stay.
– Parents are responsible for supervising their children whilst swimming. Opening dates are subject to change and dependent on favourable weather conditions.
– End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future guests. Please ensure you leave the property in a reasonably clean condition and clean any kitchen appliances after use.
– Any request for arrival or departure outside the specified times is subject to the availability of the person in charge of check-in. A flat-rate surcharge may apply.
– Guests are responsible for their own safety and that of their companions throughout their stay. Use of the house, garden, terraces, stairs, swimming pool, barbecue, plancha, sports equipment and any other facilities provided is at their own risk, in accordance with the instructions displayed or communicated before and during the stay.
