“Wow!” What can we say, we had a wonderful experience in this quaint apartment right in the middle of the Old Historic Unesco Centre. We were met by Miguel on arrival and he assisted us getting to the apartment as no vehicles are allowed in the Historic Centre. Miguel spent a fair amount of time explaining the ins and outs of the apartment and reviewed the many things to see and do in Sintra and surrounding area. We were provided a bottle of lovely Portuguese red wine and scrumptious cookies to enjoy during our stay. The apartment was located in a very busy part of the town with lots to see and do; it was noisy during the day, however, after 5:00 pm all was very quiet as the visiting day tourists from Lisbon and other areas all departed. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and well maintained, with many funky art pieces to enjoy and books on the area to enjoy.
It was an easy walk to the main part of the town to explore and partake in the many restaurants, and the bus service was excellent to get around to the many local historic sites, Pena Palace, Moorish Castle, Quinta da Regaleira, etc. and the town of Praia das Macao on the Atlantic coast to have lunch over looking the ocean; take the bus there, however return on the Sintra tram (Electrico de Sintra), well worth the experience.
Our hosts Miguel and Sonia were wonderful and followed up during our four night stay to ensure we were not having any problems, and to answer any questions we may have had, and to bring more “cookies”.
Without any reservations, we highly recommend the apartment for a stay in Sintra.

The perfect little apt in the middle of historical Sintra. The owners Miguel and Sonia were very accommodating and the apt wanted for nothing! Even down to the 4 wine selections provided to us with no extra charge.. a lovely sentiment.. we drank 2 of them. Also in the apartment were coffee pods for a nice start of the day espresso. Miguel provided us with info regarding every possible sight to see in and around town.. right down to the best bus stop to take. Could not of been happier with our stay in Sintra. A very clean and freindly town full of beautiful things to see and yummy places to eat.

We were only in Sintra for 2 nights. This apartment is in a perfect location. Smack in the middle of restaurants and shops. Clean, compact and well appointed. The owners have added their TLC in every corner of the space. Miguel met us in the square and escorted us to the apartment and gave us an intro to the town and activities. Super happy with our stay and feel lucky to have met Miguel. thanks so much. Nova Scotia, Canada.

Our short but perfect stay at the Sintra apartment was homely and comfortable. The attention of the apartment proprietor Mr. Miguel was friendly, from picking us up at the train station to ensuring that we had everything needed for a comfortable stay: toys for the kids, hospitality snacks, a good stock of linens and towels, heaters etc. The location is central and perfect, we were at the heart of Sintra with superb views- we look forward to seeing you dear Miguel and Sónia next year and thank you for everything!
