Everything about this place was great. The staff amazing love our early morning breakfast which we never missed is very simple but we enjoy it. Love how we had the upstairs 2 villa to ourselves we are a family of 5 and it was perfect. AC worked great. Love they had a pool but didn't get the chance to use it .
So happy we had parking since we rented a car that was a big plus for us. Oh yes it is a temple you'll go into it may feel weird you'll get used to it but love it.
I would say not a deal breaker but wish we had a stool or something to hold our clothes when taking a shower it was odd taking a shower where the toilet was connected but it was too far away from my clothes well at least the room I was in.
Oh yes don't leave any food out we had food sealed with a plastic bag on the kitchen table and little ants literally got to the dessert we had that we couldn't buy anywhere else so was really disappointed. So DON'T LEAVE any food on the table even though it is sealed.
You are far away from near the airport but close to most important attractions it can be challenging driving to most local to and from resorts but is doable.

It was away from the hustle and bustle of the main areas of Bali. It is in where the locals live. The family who run the villa were amazing and very accommodating. Best pancakes in Bali!
The beds were a little uncomfortable but not horrible.
