Good location. Dorm rooms were spacious. Reception area a nice, quiet spot to sit in the hammocks. Staff were helpful
No hot water in the dorm bathrooms (although there are 3 male and 3 female warm showers downstairs). My bunk bed was incredibly squeaky and the ladder would move a bit when used, so very loud

Most of reception are awesome and helpful (Toby is an absolute gem; super helpful and funny personality. Nora's yoga classes were amazing and she's very lovely. The two women who cook breakfast and man reception were always pleasant. Only one guy who was usually a little rude/unfriendly)
The free breakfast is great (perfectly cooked scrambled eggs every morning!), free water/tea/coffee all day.
Common area is beautiful and comfy.
Reception helpful in booking things/information.
Dorm beds are very private with the curtains, and I liked having the shelf behind the lockable cage for your bedtime items (water, eyemask etc)
The dorms and bathrooms needed just a bit more cleaning. The bathrooms needed more upkeep during the day (lots of wet floors, hair on the floors, no toilet roll etc) and shower floors were kind of gross.
The dorm (or ours at least) smelled of damp and was very dark - we had to use our phone flashlight when getting things out of our bags. Nice to have a toilet in the dorm, but that bathroom wasn't cleaned much and was a bit dank. There's a big foot wide gap between the wall and the bed and heaven help you if your pillow or something fell down there - it's definitely not swept or cleaned under the beds!

The staff were mostly nice. The location is convenient. The yoga was OK although you must book at the desk and it books out 1-2 days in advance. The gym was OK, with boxing equipment. The common area is nice but open-air means it gets very hot during the day. I'd say the bed was actually comfortable.
Cleaning could be improved, and it needs fixing broken old things in the showers and dorms. The plugs are terrible (EU plugs don't hold). Breakfast could include some fruit (right now just eggs on toast and instant coffee). The 8-bed dorm felt a bit like a dungeon, dark and lack of ventilation. Prices of extra services (scooter, laundry) were more expensive than around the corner.
In general, it felt like the place could do with some extra love.

Location is great, nice lounge area to chill, friendly staff
The bed was super hard and uncomfortable

Location is ok, hot shower available
Cleanliness very low, you are not supposed to use slippers inside but the floor is so dirty, your feet get black in 5 min. They don't swipe it clean. The room was not cleaned during my stay, room's bathroom was disgusting, the floor covered in dirt.
I got sick shortly after my stay which broght into a hospital, I suspect I got the bacterial infection in this hostel lacking basic cleanliness.
Apart from that: the room was cramped, no space to put your bag, barely any daylight. The staff very unfriendly. Breakfast is "free" but you need to chase them to make it for you.
I regret choosing this hostel.

The hostel is ok but definitely not worth the price. Generally it's pretty crammed in the rooms, but shared area is nice.
Not so clean, breakfast is ok (2 eggs and two toast slices), but you need to pay extra if you want more. A lot of other much cheaper places have better breakfast included.
I booked because of the yoga, but I couldn't join any classes becauce it was already full for the two days I stayed there, so unless you stay long don't count on joining the yoga.
8 people dorm with one shower and only cold water in the room (they do have shared hot shower downstairs).

I had such a great time that i extended my trip to 5 nights(most people extended when i was there!). The hostel is 5 minutes walk to the beach and there is a shop and restaurants next door.. I loved chilling in the hammocks!. Its a sociable hostel but you can have alone time too. It feels very safe for female solo travellers. Rooms are mixed but when i stayed it was about 80% women.Big lockers for bags in the room. The yoga classes are Amazing! Its very clean and even it is beside the road i had no issues with sleep. My bed was super comfy and you get 2 big pillows.100% recommend staying here!
If you dont rent a scooter then you will have to rely on taxis/tuktuks to get around to the main sights! This is not a critism of the hostel though!
They can organise scooter/motorbike rental and there was lots of tours!

I ended up staying here a week I loved it so much! The yoga classes were incredible and there was a gym downstairs free to use. Breakfast was amazing to have every morning. The staff were lovely and the cats were so cute! It was a wonderful place to relax, unwind and center yourself again. The staff will help you rent a motorcycle to explore the island with. I had an incredible time, thank you!!

The place is super cozy and perfect if you wanna chill for a few days. The staff is amazing and the spaces are very big. The beach is just a 5 min walk from the hostel.

Good location. Walking distance from a really nice beach and a lot of places to eat as well. I hired a scooty from the hostel and rode to the national park which is south side of the island. They also serve breakfast every morning. Rooms were clean and comfortable. And spacious as well. They also helped me booked my travel onwards at a reasonable rate. There is also a common area to chill during the day.

Really great vibe in the hostel. Looks very cute and the beanbag/hammock area is a cool place to hang out. I love that it offered free yoga although I could never make the times while I was staying. The additional bathrooms were nice as was the kitchen/eating area. It had a really social feel to the hostel.
The room was a bit small. There wasn't a lot of space to store things between the bunks.

The common areas are perfect for socialising, the yoga is amazing- Nora is a great instructor!
I booked more nights at the hostel and could have stayed a week! It was perfect
There are cats at the property if you are allergic, make sure to bring pills.

- short walk to the beach
- yoga was amazing & Nora very knowledgeable
- free breakfast was appreciated and made fresh for each guest
- lockers big enough to fit average backpack
- staff cleaned room everyday
- water filter available for all
- aircon great when it was turned on
- cooking demo staff were excellent
- beds have own light, curtains and PowerPoint
- staff able to help with bookings/tours
- wifi was great
-room was spacious for amount of people
- man on front desk can sometimes come across a little unkind when trying to explain confusion. Not to me but saw it happening to other guests. Perhaps some training could be provided for a better experience, saw guests becoming upset.
I’m sure he’s great but many guests commenting on demeanour.
- had to book activities over 24 hours in advance, not able to join in on the activity that day despite space available. Would be excellent for this to be accommodated if space.
- would be great if milk is provided for morning coffee/tea
- only blanket provided no top sheet
- towel is extra

Very chill place, nice people and free breakfast! Also so thankful for the free yoga. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean. Good location near cafes, the small restaurant right in front is great!
If you’re allergic to cats (like me) you cannot really use the common spaces, I laid on the hammock for a minute and I got a reaction 😅 but that didn’t interfere with my overall experience.

The staff at this hostel were very friendly and helpful. They can arrange day tours and book your bus/ferry tickets to other destinations.
The beds were comfortable but unfortunately the curtains do not cover the entire bed and since the bunk beds are put together side by side, you can see the person sleeping right next to you, which is weird.
The air con was working most of the time. There was hot water in the shower.
Free breakfast was provided with coffee, tea, toast, jam, and fried eggs. They also have a water filter that you can use to fill your water bottle for free.
Unfortunately the bathroom in the dorm was disgusting! It was never cleaned during my stay. Not once. The shower head was broken and the drain was clogged, so it didn't take long before the bathroom got full of water.
The location is in a very quiet area and everything is really far. No nearby restaurants or bars or markets and the nearest 7-Eleven is 2 km away.
The other guests at this hostel were terrible. They do not respect the dorm room and some people would drag in all the sand from the beach onto the floors and people would fight and argue about the air con temperature in the room. There was no social atmosphere at this hostel... Just a lot of rude people.
Keep in mind that there are a few cats that live in this hostel in case you have any allergies. Otherwise it's great to play with them!

Stuff was friendly.
It’s a budget hostel, beds weren’t comfy. The room was extremely hot during the day since they turned off the A/C. Bathroom was not cleaned well, always a bit filty.
9.0 / 10.0
This hostel is made by the lovely family who run it, they went out of their way to make me feel welcome and were so helpful and friendly. The hammock area by the reception is also a great place to socialise and relax.
Cleanliness in the communal showers/toilets could be improved and was a little smelly.
8.0 / 10.0
Very friendly and helpful staff, cool things to do across the Island but also chill, you can book tours and busses etc at the hostel, kitchen with refridgeraror and microwave, cute cats, cozy chill out area, beach 5 minutes by foot, laundry service, breakfast included (simple but okay), Yoga included (very nice), free drinking water, nice people around - all in all a cool place to stay, especially if you're looking for a more quiet place
Bathrooms weren't cleaned regularly, sometimes no toilet paper, no towels included, street right in front of the hostel, you'll need a scooter to do grocery shopping and explore the Island etc, the waves at the beach are quite rough, the aircon will be turned off between 10am and 17pm

Great location, but you must hire a scooter or a car. Didn’t live up to the expectations of the reviews, but overall it wasn’t terrible.
air-conditioning wasn’t cold enough for the number of people in the dorms. breakfast was very basic (if you came down past 8:30am it would’ve gone cold, as it was just left out). staff were not overly friendly/helpful.

The location next to a major road.

Free yoga, really comfortable with loads of hammocks, close by to all amenities and loads of tours, activities and parties advertised

They organise cheap tours and the staff is quite helpful.
The curtains on the bests are white shower curtains that fly up when the fani is turned on. They are so see through that one wakes up at dawn.

I loved the social area, the friendly helpful staff who always referred to me by name. The hostel had a friendly social, relaxed vibe to it.
Cold shower in room, but not a big issue as hot showers downstairs. My main issue was the curtain that only went round half of one side of my bed. So from other angles I was on view.
7.0 / 10.0
good living area and kitchen. good breakfast with toast, fried eggs, butter, jam, coffee and tea. easy to socialise. shared toilet and bathroom were good. comfortable bed.
toilet inside the room wasn’t very clean, bad smell and always missing toilet paper. the beds have curtains on the side but the other sides are open so you don’t have much privacy. the bar is closed due some roadwork outside.
