The property is a little dark and noisy. The ceiling seems very thing and you can hear everything going on overhead. The neighbors aren't necessarily noisy, just going about their lives. The neighborhood is great and you are easy walking distance from downtown. It was an adequate property and I'm satisfied with our visit.

The unit was exactly as pictured. Fit my needs just like I thought it would. When I received the email with check-in specific information, I was surprised to learn light housekeeping was required. That should've been listed with House Rules.

We are in our 60's and enjoying walking so the close location to downtown and its many breweries, restaurants, shops was excellent. The accommodations are homey, well decorated, clean, well stocked. Plenty of drawer space. Having the 2 bathrooms worked well for us, because women have more stuff and it was faster for us to both get ready for our day. We ate breakfast and lunch in the unit and went out for dinner only. Kitchen was perfect for our needs. We will stay again. Our only complaint would be the footstep noise above apartment. The provided ear plugs helped. We didnt use 1st night , but did night 2 and 3. Overall. A great stay !

This place had everything we needed for a weekend stay! The bed was pretty comfortable, the place was clean and the kitchen had some cookware/utensils (we ate out for every meal). Location was fab - a 3 min walk away from restaurants, etc. though this is totally out of the owners control, the noise from the upstairs apartment was very loud and everything carried downstairs into our bedroom which disturbed our sleep both nights. Dark but cozy!

A quaint property and reasonable for the price point. The hollow walls made sleeping on the first floor unpleasant, as we could hear every step and word from the room above ours. The bed was far too firm, and we ended up sleeping on the fouton provided. All in all, a rather average experience.

I have never had a worse experience with a rental. I don't think I've ever written a bad review so that should tell you something. Do not take the reviews about noise from the upstairs unit lightly! I believe it is a permanent residence for people who are not happy about the downstairs unit being a rental. The noise was to the point that we almost called the police. Stomping, dropping things, banging, jumping for hours on end - I have no idea how they kept making that much noise for hours! The night before my sister's wedding, no one slept until after 2am. It was awful. The management company did nothing to address the issue and stopped communicating altogether. I will be working to get at least a partial refund. Take my advice and don't stay here if you actually want to sleep.

I really enjoyed staying at the 09 Lodge with my two sons! The property is very clean, spacious, and has everything you need. It has two main living areas, which was nice for giving myself and my kids privacy when needed. It is very convenient to anywhere downtown and even a short walk to the riverfront. I would stay here again.

A comfortable, homely and well equipped apartment on the ground floor of this condo block. The apartment felt spacious, especially the large bedroom. The bed was very comfortable. There are also 2 bathrooms so we had 'his n' hers' bathrooms! The location is excellent, just minutes from all the shops and restaurants in Hood River, plus the waterfront. The kitchen had everything we needed. The apartment was very clean. If I had to pick any downsides, it was that it was a little dark, due to being on the ground floor. There was also some noise from the comings and goings in the apartment above, but on the whole it didn't bother us. The air-con units were quite noisy but we didn't need them on much. I enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.

We had a great stay. The coffee was really good and the place was stocked with everything a person could possibly need. Its located close to the farmers market and other downtown restaurants. We really liked having 2 bathrooms which is not necessary but a great added bonus!

Very well maintained. Lots of amenities, very clean, organized, and stocked with anything you could need. The main queen bed was a little hard but luckily there are options if you choose to sleep elsewhere in the home; a futon in the bedroom and a sofa sleeper in the living room! Each room has a Smart TV, internet is fast. Neighbors upstairs are a bit loud, but the overall quality of this place outweighs the minor irritation. Very close to Oak St. where all the action is. We will stay here again!

This is the 3rd time I've stayed at a property of this host, and every time has been great. First, the properties have always been very clean, convenient, and welcoming. These properties have always felt very homelike and comfortable. Nothing is lacking for an enjoyable place to stay. In addition, twice now I have needed to make it change in my reservation, and both times the host has been very helpful in making this work out. I hope that in all future visits I will be able to rent a property with these hosts.

The living room/ kitchen area was so warm, we could not use that space. The heater would not adjust. Dishwasher would not lock shut, so could not use it. Over all clean, nice to have so many options on the TV. Comfortable stay, close to town, but not in town.
