Rocky Guesthouse

Really amazing stay. They were flexible with my request to check in early and there was also a washroom and bed available. Rocky is a kind and very helpful host, shankar is a dilligent young man who was attentive to all my needs and cleaning. The location is outstanding being only 5 minutes from the Virupaksha temple and local eateries. The best part of my stay was their auto driver Giriappa, who picked me up and dropped me off to my transfers and took me around for both days. He did so at a completely reasonable price, while also being incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I will definitely be staying here agaib when I visit Hampi again.

The location in the heart of Hampi was ideal. The remodeling of the room was top rate. The manager was friendly and helpful. The AC was very welcome.

It's a little hard to get to if you arrive in a full size car. You'll need to park in the big lot some distance away. A sitting area would be nice since there is only a bed in the room.

I liked how easy it was for me to travel from the centre of the city and visit nearby places.

I was not so happy about the cost of the room because these are very famous places and it's off season at least during these times their money should be less and they're asking us to check out by 9 am which is not at all good because they know all the busses and train will be available only in the evening. And they helped us with local auto people but they overcharging the money and it's not at all fair for people who travels in low budget. Just to travel 20km they're charging 2 thousand.

We only stayed one night, but it did the job well. The room is quite basic, but both the AC and fan worked properly, which made a big difference for comfort. We had a good night’s sleep. The location is very convenient, making it easy to get around and explore Hampi.

The lighting could be improved. There was only a main ceiling light with a strong white tone, so a cosier bedside lamp would make the room feel more comfortable, especially in the evening.
