This hotel has old world charm, comfy beds & friendly staff
We were not thrilled with breakfast being served in the bar area while renovations were started on the restaurant. They were kind enough to allow us to order breakfast items to be delivered to our room.

There is an elegance about the Astor which makes it exceptionally comfortable and a great place to stay. The staff are particularly kind and attentive, and the room that I stayed in was of high quality.
There was a little bit of maintenance and upgrade happening in one part of the building, but there had no impact on my stay other than one of the three restaurants was closed.

The heritage building was superb but if you don’t like climbing stairs this isn’t for you as there is no lift. We loved the old world charm of this hotel. The staff were very helpful

I liked the old charm.
Rooms are clastorphobic for someone like me who is used to day light, the room had just a small pane window and no daylight was coming into the room..... not for people like me
