The breakfast was the best I’ve had in Bali. The staff (esp Wayan who brought us flowers each day!) and reception staff, thank you for making us feel at home! Felt very sad leaving……

Jungle paradise …

Welcoming, friendly staff who looked after us so well and cleaned our rooms every day beautifully. I had a ground floor room with private terrace. The room was spacious, the bed and pillows good, fresh linen and towels daily, good range of toiletries, good air con (plus ceiling fan) and WiFi and excellent lighting (good for reading in bed). Good shower with plenty of hot water. The doors had mosquito screens on them which was an added bonus. I had no bugs in my room at all. Quiet location with jungle noises at night. Lovely pool area with parasols. Delicious breakfasts - especially the pancakes. A few excellent warungs within 1km or you can easily get a Grab to central Ubud or takeaway food by Grab. Booked for 3 days and extended for another 3 days.

Place to be in Ubud ❤️

Everything. I have been traveling for years and this is so far my favorite place I have ever stayed. Location is just perfect, away from the hustle, but again 10 minutes with a bike you are close to everything. For me it was so special to be in a jungle… the pool is just perfect. Also I liked the nature sound. Room was spacious, clean and AC worked perfectly. They would bring water every day in a room. The staff is 10/10. Lovely breakfast every morning, but the most important part for me was that the staff was always interested where I go, how it was, they actually cared about their guests. Super romantic for couples or just solo travelers. Highly recommend and will come here again.

Amazing territory, great breakfast, breathtaking pool view

The hotel is amazing! The territory is so nice, green and secluded, the pool is quite big and has breathtaking jungle view. The room is nice and clean, but it’s a bit unusual not having a door to the bathroom. The breakfast is big and very good. The staff is amazing: very helpful and nice. They let us leave our bike for one day after checking out on their parking lot and served breakfast 15 minutes before it was supposed to start to accommodate our tour schedule. We had a room on the second floor and the view was great! Also it was very nice to have anti-mosquito door (so we could have fresh air in the room without unexpected visitors)

Be prepared that it’s in a jungle. It’s perfect if you are looking for relaxing hotel with lots of greenery, but you’ll encounter ants and hear cicadas (they can be loud, but I had an amazing sleep). There are no insects in the room though which is rare in Bali and great. If you travel by bike it will be easy for you to get there (only 10 minutes from centre), but don’t expect to be able to walk from the hotel to the city centre, it’s quite far and people don’t really walk anywhere in Bali. Rent a bike! The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but you can always go out or order food online by Grab. I liked the hotel a lot and recommend it to everyone looking for a secluded beautiful jungle space!

Splendid!

I really liked the well maintained infinity pool with jungle view. There's also a huge platform for yoga/fitness. The staff was extremely helpful and prepared delicious breakfasts and kept the place very tidy.

The little town Ubud at a short driving distance away is too crowded and busy, in my opinion. But at Angsoka, it doesn't bother you.

Welcome in the Jungle

We really liked to be in the Jungle. We heard the River and the Waterfall. The Team cared for the gods to have us all save. It Made us feel very welcome. Some days you See Monkeys at the Hotel.

They did not sell beverages directly at the Hotel. You saw that they have to fight with the humidity. But so Close in the Jungle you cannot deny that.

Beautiful, natural and peaceful place to begin or end your trip to Bali!

From rainy forest, to chirpy birds and even monkeys, the property is surrounded by nature with incredible sounds! The place to wind down and connect with nature is indeed here! The staff were super friendly and helpful, and compared to the hustle from the rest of Bali, Angsoka is easily a place thats disconnected enough to wind down. Even a walk down the street to enjoy cooking classes nearby is a breeze!

The terrace ceiling had many termites that leave little wood chips everywhere, if you dont mind wiping the floor once in a while its all fine! Our shower unfortunately had no real vent to the outside so moisture just stayed in one place throughout our stay that caused all our laundry to be moist over time.

Pleasant accommodation with a beautiful pool right next to the jungle

Stunning location with view from the infinity pool right into the jungle. Modern, clean and comfortable rooms. The bathroom is open to the main room, a circumstance that may not suit everyone. Breakfast was fine. Quite if you want to escape busy Ubud.

Apart from breakfast, there are no food options at the property itself, which means you need to go by scooter or car through the heavy traffic in and around Ubud every time you want to visit a restaurant. This pictures give the impression that the hotel offers yoga classes, however, unfortunately that was not the case during our stay. Spa treatments offered at the hotel are insanely expensive considering the price level that Bali has otherwise.

Peaceful and convenient

Perfect place to stay if you are searching for peace and nature but still want to be next to the city and rice fields. The room is perfectly decorated and clean. The staff is really nice. You can order your food and take a grab to be on town in 10 minutes. The place is really calm and the view is stunning. You can spot some monkeys sometimes in the trees.

After staying in other city centres it was wonderful to spend few nights surrounded by lush jungle. The staff were kindly and they arranged us a day tour to the Rice terrace and waterfalls. The place is good for those who seek more peace and nature but to get to the city centre you have to take a car or scooter.

Tranquil, amazing staff and relaxing stay

I absolutely loved my stay here, it is situated in the tranquil beautiful ubud jungle with amazing views and sounds. I was a bit worried the accomodation would be hard to reach and in an unsafe location when I read other reviews, but it’s super easy and cheap to order grabs/gojeks and get into the centre. The staff are the kindest, most lovely people I have encountered in Bali (and I’ve met many!). They arranged an early breakfast (which is really good!) so I could visit a waterfall early hours and sorted a transfer with a family member who was so accomodating and made me feel very safe. They went out of their way to ensure I felt comfortable and happy and were very quick to response to messages/requests. The room was great for the price and the cleanliness was above usual standards. The pool area is so beautiful and private, I really enjoyed relaxing here after a long travel. I will stay here again if I visit Ubud ✨

What a dream!

Angsoka Bungalow is a dream! I booked a room with jungle view as a birthday surprise for my partner. The infinity pool is beautiful, the room is very comfortable and the view is amazing(!) but what stood out most was the friendliness of the staff. They decorated our room and added an extra touch by singing happy birthday to my partner. It was such a lovely gesture! Before our visit I wasn't completely sure about the location, but it's really just a short ride away from all the Ubud highlights. And a lovely quiet spot to get back to after a busy day. Would recommend Angsoka Bungalow wholeheartedly.

Hidden gem in Ubud!

The staff is lovely, and the room cleaning service is awesome! The pool is clean and beautiful, providing a very private and silent atmosphere for resting and sleeping. The resort also offers forest views that are great for taking photos, and there is a small hiking path that leads to the river.

The WiFi quality is too slow, and sometimes I cannot access the internet. The WC has some stains and is quite old. The shower does not work properly, and the free toothbrush has bad quality as its bristles come out in my mouth when brushing.

Perfect place to stay to explore Ubud

- impeccably clean rooms - gorgeous pool area with views over the jungle - breakfast was fantastic, the banana pancakes were the best I’ve ever eaten - the team are so friendly, helpful and can’t do enough to ensure you have a seamless stay - super easy to rent a scooter and head into town (we loved the location as the centre of Ubud is so busy and chaotic, it was so nice to come back to Angsoka and enjoy some peace)
