Wijaya Guest House Ubud

The property was nice, and we had a great view over the jungle from our top floor room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They have their own motorbike rental which was very useful for us and we were able to swap it very easily too.

The bathroom wasn't particularly modern or clean. The breakfast was ok.

The staff were very kind and tried to help us. The location was good enough.

I booked a room almost a month in advance but read the comments that people were informed that the place is overbooked. I texted the accommodation via WhatsApp to check if everything was ok and they assured me that they were waiting for us. We came late at night because our flight was delayed. We informed the accommodation and got an answer that everything's ok, they are waiting, just come. It was 4 am in the morning and when we reached the reception they told us that they didn't have a room for us.. apparently the person who answered me didn't communicate with the actual place. Fortunately they found us a room somewhere else and told us to come the next morning. The room that they gave us next day was not the same as in booking so we stayed another night in a different room. As you can guess the next room wasn't the same as in a booking as well but they said that the actual room won't be ready soon. Then we tried to book the sunrise hiking to Mt Batur from the hotel and waited for almost an hour at 2 am but no one showed up.. Not to mention that all the rooms that we had were dirty. The breakfast was very very simple. I know you don't expect a luxury apartment for that price and I was ready for some discomfort but it was just not worth it . No view like in the description and construction noise as well.
