Yuyado Unzen Shinyu

Everything was amazing : the localisation next to the village, the staff that was very friendly and helpfull, the onsens that were clean, spacious and not crowded, the room that was huge, comfortable and with a nice view and the food that was so yummy

Nothing, everything was perfect :)

The external appearance of the hotel is not as attractive as the other hotels near the Unzen Jigoku. The room with private Onsen is superb. The public Onsen is good. The hotel keys are wonderful, the 2 keys can stick together with magnets inside the keys so they can be carried together. The food served in dinner & breakfast is wonderful & in 3 days I think I have eaten every cuisine in fine Japanese dining. The hotel serves sashimi but as one of us would prefer cooked food, the substitute has been excellent as well. The hotel staff has been very friendly & helpful. We would like to thanks Miss Chihiro 千弘小姐 who has been with us for 3 days for her hospitality.

External appearance of the hotel is not too appealing

The staff was extremely helpful during my stay. I had to leave early in the morning and they helped me figure out the best itinerary and accommodated my breakfast time. The room was also very big and clean. Dinner and breakfast were incredible. Everything was excellent. I also loved the different baths. I was lucky enough to have them all to myself. It was an amazing stay, I wish I had stayed another night.

I liked everything. The bathroom in the room was a little disappointing (clean but small/standard), but to be honest the public baths made up for it.
