Large Italian villa with its park, swimming pool and tennis court

We had the most incredible family holiday at this villa. There were 16 of us (ages ranging from 16–50s) and it was absolutely perfect for our group. The villa is beautifully decorated with a mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. The kitchen is so well equipped, the dining table seats 16 easily, and the living spaces offered both quiet corners and room for us all to be together.The outdoor spaces were even more spectacular—BBQ patio, swimming pool, ping pong in the barn, and a huge grassy area for games. The gardens are breathtaking, with flowers, ponds, ducks, boats, and more—it felt like our own little paradise. We couldn't believe it was all ours!Virginie was a wonderful host, quick to answer any questions and full of great recommendations. The villa is in a peaceful rural location, so we hired cars and enjoyed exploring—highlights included Puy du Fou, a local vineyard, and the beaches.I can’t recommend this villa highly enough for large families or groups of friends. It’s rare to find somewhere that offers so much beauty, space, and comfort all in one place. Truly unforgettable!

Virginie and Antoine have been amazingly nice hosts. They welcomed us on the first day, were helpful all along our 2-week stay until the end. The checkout process was also very smooth. The location is as amazing as it seems, we can only strongly recommend it strongly, and look forward to another stay there. Virginie et Antoine ont été d'incroyable hôtes. Ils nous ont très bien reçus le 1er jour, et ont toujours d'une grande aide tout le long du séjour. La localisation est magnifique, nous ne pouvons que la recommander chaleureusement. Nous avons hâte d'y retourner !

La Muraillere provided us with the near perfect place for us to hold a family gathering to help celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The weather was perfect so we spent the majority of our time outside in the lovely gardens and grounds. It’s location is such that you can easily reach the coast. La Muraillere is full of character and was perfect for our holiday, however the sheer size of the project means there are some areas which are still to be worked on. This was of no consequence to us and will of course reduce as time goes on. The pool is excellent and was fully used by all the family. A particular success was the celebratory meal cooked at the château by the chef (Anthony) organised by Virginie. All in all we had a memorable time and if the opportunity arose we would not hesitate to return. Virginie and Antoine are helpful and caring hosts.
