About this house rental
A galleried entrance leads to an open plan living area with a modern well equipped kitchen, spacious dining area and comfortable lounge. On the ground floor are two bedrooms, one king size with an en-suite bathroom featuring a double ended bath plus a twin bedroom and separate shower room. We enjoyed our 7 nights at this this well appointed large 3 bedroom 2 bathroom cottage.Fully equipped kitchen & laundry. Spacious open plan living area.We loved waking up to the sound of the local farm animals Parking was right at our cottage doorstep which was a bonus for us.Short drive to Wigton and Caldabeck with several pubs available with excellent food.Keswick is a 20 minute drive away with numerous restaurants and cafes.Nat and John were great hosts . We thoroughly recommend the Hayloft Cottage .We hope to return during 2027.

The whole cottage has a lovely homely feel. It has everything you could possibly need for a perfect holiday. Large living space & kitchen. Large bedrooms with very comfortable beds. We travelled with my elderly parents & there was more than enough space for all of us. Plus the whole place was spotlessly clean. Great location to explore the lovely Lake District.
Great communication from start to finish. The owners are available if needed but otherwise leave you to enjoy your holiday.
Can’t recommend this cottage highly enough.

This place is amazing nothing but praise from start to finish, idyllic location and property without doubt excellent, more than exceeded all expectations everything you can think of is provided, it’s a perfect home from home. Will definitely be returning. So child friendly and the garden is ideal for them to spend the day playing.
The owners are so friendly and helpful, so thank you for making our break perfect.
