Staff was great overall. The view from my room was amazing.
During my stay they had a banking conference, so the hotel was very busy. However, the hotel operations management should have done a better job to accommodate the guests in the public places like cafes and restaurants. I encountered no room to sit while I wanted a cup of coffee and a bite to eat on one of the late mornings, I was very surprised. Just to order a burger took an hour long wait as my order got tossed around from cafe to the restaurant and back to the cafe. The gym had no air-conditioning and was dirty. I had to request some AC and air in order to use the gym room. If they promote fitness facility for guests, the hotel needs to keep that clean as part of the room premium prices. At such a beautiful property, they had no bar which was so very surprising. The worst experience was showering in a bathroom where the water would not drain, and I had to stand in 1 inch of water to complete my showering. Hotel checked that issue a few times upon complaint, but I had to go through the 4 days of inconvenience which was extremely disappointing at such a high-priced property. They simply said "sorry", I am surprised that they did not do anything about it or offer any compensation for the 4 days of inconvenience I had to go through. I did not pay to go through that. At such a property I expected a flawless stay.
