The location, the surroundings, and the views are absolutely beautiful. Also, the host is very nice, welcoming, and really tries his best to help.
There are nearly 130 steps to climb down, which is a real challenge with suitcases and not suitable for the elderly or anyone with mobility issues. Parking is on the street, so you have to hunt for a spot. There is no AC—and while the apartment stays relatively cool because it is below ground level, AC is a standard nowadays. The Wi-Fi is practically non-existent; it is just a mobile hotspot from the owner with a very weak signal in only one spot. Lastly, builders were working from early morning on one of the days, which took away our privacy.

Die Aussicht auf Camogli und das Meer ist wunderschön, hier am Tisch zu sitzen ist fantastisch!
Jeden Tag über 800 Treppenstufen zur Wohnung hochzusteigen, weil der Bus selten, unzuverlässlich oder gar nicht fährt. Positiv ist jedoch, dass wir damit alle etwas Sport betrieben haben und einen Ausgleich zum vielen und feinen Essen hatten;)

Fantastic view, quiet place to relax, spacious apartment and a wonderful and very attentive host! Perfect for families with kids. You can directly walk down the stairs to Camogli center and beach (about 25 Minutes) or take the bus to Camogli or Santa Margherita, and it is only a short walk to the beautiful Portofino Regional Park for hiking.
Everything was fine, but equipment and cleaning could be a little better for 300 € per night.
