Flat is not in the condition as its in the pictures

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after over 10 years of frequent travel, I feel compelled to share my honest experience. Unfortunately, the flat did not meet the expectations set by its 9.1 rating. Upon arrival, I found the bathroom in poor condition it was not clean and appeared to be in need of refurbishment. The shower leaked continuously, and when I raised this with the host, I was told they were aware of the issue but hadn’t had time to address it. Given that I checked in at 1:00 AM and the check-in window began at 3:00 PM, I had hoped this could have been resolved beforehand. The kitchen appliances were greasy and sticky to the touch, and the kettle had a significant build-up of limescale. In the bedroom, there were visible cracks and signs of water damage on the walls. Microwave inside was shocking.. What concerned me most, however, was the host knocking on my door at 7:30 PM to request the city tax. I explained I didn’t have cash and would settle it upon departure. Unfortunately, the host returned two days later at 9:30 PM, appearing somewhat inebriated, which made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. At that point, I decided to leave the property early. ( I left the city tax I owned them on the table) While I understand that occasional issues can arise, the condition of the flat and the handling of the situation did not reflect the high rating it currently holds. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as I believe transparency is important for future guests.

Great for couples

The family running the place was really helpful, apartment had everything what was needed and was really clean. The bed was extremely soft - it was so nice that we had a problem of leaving it 😀 It was a comfortable stay - I would recommend for any other couple. There was also plenty of parking nearby. Money well spent 👍

8 Amazing Nights In Kaunas

I thought everything was excellent, good facilities, clean room, clean bathroom, very comfortable bed. The host already had provided a lot of small things like shampoos and body wash, sugar, salt, tea bags etc that made your experience feel more home-like. I felt really save here and enjoyed my time here. The host was extremely kind and respectful and spoke good English, he was willing to help you with any difficulties you might come across. Overall a 10/10 experience!

my only real issue is that there is no bin to throw your rubbish in. meaning I needed to throw my rubbish into bags then on the last day dump it but there wasn't any other issues other than that.

Person renting , they were lovely and helpful. Location was suitable as I chose close to my work assignment, so the area was good with shops and good connection to the city centre and around. Studio size is good, have a small terrace you can have your coffee in the morning. Studio also has a communal garden with other flats you can sit down and relax between cherry trees, ambience is lovely.

General cleaning and dusting, shower was overflowing in 2 min, so that made it hard to shower. The heater in the bathroom burnt my clothes when i hanged to dry despite being luke warm itself. Let's overnight, so maybe that was the issue. Have iron like burn kind on my white top now that can't be fixed and so need replacement.

Good value for money, has all the basics you need.

Good value for money, set up like a bed sit. Suited us perfectly for exploring the city, didn’t spend much time here during the day. One room kitchen/dining/very comfortable bed. Bathroom off kitchen. kitchen has most essentials, Property located well, in a housing estate. Quiet area. 10 mins from Kaunas Old Town. Owner lives at the front of the building so check in & out was very easy. Very helpful host.

Shower was leaking. Tv in Lithuanian. Not a smart tv, could do with one then could watch Netflix etc we had to use our phones.
