I booked the apartment for my parents, visiting Lucca. Place was extremely close to the city center and the possibility to have a private parking was a huge plus. Everything needed is in the house and supermarkets are also close.

Only complaint my parents had was related to the bathroom. The flush was not working properly and they had to use a bucket. I would suggest the host to change it as this is not a problem of the city/old houses. My husband's parents live in an ancient palace in Lucca and toilette works well.

Convenient access to historic Lucca

Clean and comfortable. AC works well and it was wonderful to have a clothes washer. Quiet enough for sleeping though sound comes in from the neighbors (one with a dog that barks and another with afternoon music) but not during the night and not all the time. Patio is nice to have though there were some mosquitos (July). Just enough towels: 2 small bath towels, 2 large bath towels, 1 kitchen towel. Large supermarket (Esselunga) is .7 miles away but there is a decent medium-sized market (Lidl) essentially around the corner. Apartment is very close (2 minutes walking) to enter the walled city portion of Lucca. Very large and secure parking spot. The toilet flushing mechanism needed to be pumped several times but did work. There is one window in the living room that has screens. The doors to the patio in both rooms do not have screens. The only cooking/supermarket items were: salt, pepper, and balsamic.

Only 5 clothes hangers in the closet. Very flat pillows that are good for back sleepers but side sleepers need thicker pillows (it would be nice to have different pillows to choose from). Wifi internet did not work for the first six days which was not the host’s fault; the outage was widespread for everyone using the same provider that this property has. Kitchen was missing some useful things: aluminum foil, plastic wrap, cooking oil, sugar, pot holder/oven mitt.

L'appartement est très agréable calme et bien situé par rapport à la ville de LUCQUES on peut tout visiter à pied et il y a des commerces à proximité. Et le plus un garage privé et sécurisé c'est top; les hôtes aimables et disponibles

Läget är fantastiskt bra. Närheten till allt . Muren med allt vad det innebär, mataffär och stationen mm . Ändå tyst och lugnt . Garage till bilen var toppen också .

Acceso al casco antiguo de Lucca 100 metros, apartamento con parking privado sin problema de aparcar lo tuvimos todo, ha sido genial muy recomendable y económico por ser temporada alta
