Casa da Sogra

Spacious property for our family - I was traveling with my 3 sons, 24, 17 and 14 years old- and this property had plenty of space for all of us. It has 1.5 bathrooms and very well equipped kitchen with a washing machine which was super helpful with the boys traveling. The host, Nelson, is wonderful, very responsive, accommodating and generous. The location of the property is great, it is in Faja Grande village, 7 min walk to the beach and restaurants. Less than 10 min walk to the beautiful waterfall Poço do Bacalhau (the only one on the island you can swim in), plus close to a couple hiking trails. The views are spectacular ( mountain wall with waterfalls on one side and the ocean on another). Can also see Monchique Islet from Faja. A beautiful place.

L'appartement était immense et propre. Il offrait tout le nécessaire. Le propriétaire était également agréable. Il y a également un parking.👏

Un gaspillage d'eau car il faut attendre un certain temps avant que l'eau chaude arrive.

Great location with an amazing backdrop of lush greenery and waterfalls! Super clean and cozy. Walking distance to stellar restaurants in Faja Grande. Nelson is a wonderful host that’s super easy to communicate with and who’s very helpful with hiking and restaurants suggestions. He even shared with us and took us to a fascinating viewpoint of the Cascata da Ribeira do Ferreiro that you won’t find on any map or online. Highly, highly recommend to stay here!!! Can’t wait to come back
