Apartament Gdański Gród

The location is excellent, entering isn't difficult. Everything worked well. It was clean, some free coffee and shower amenities, towels were provided as expected.

We stayed during a major heatwave, and it doesn't have AC. The one sleeping spot at the top of the room gets even hotter, as this is the top room and heats up from the roof. The shower door gets stuck on the floor, and can't open fully. The floor of the bathroom doesn't direct the water to the drainage, but instead under the door towards the living room, so we had to dry it with towels.

Location was perfect Close to the river and great places to eat and drink. Lovely clean apartment easy assess to gaining entrance to the apartment.

We arrived on the Friday at 14.20. We were allowed to leave our bag. As the cleaner was still cleaning the apartment. By the time we got back it was 22.00 I asked for Wi fi provider and password. The provider was not on the list on my phone. It was late so was told that it would be sorted the next morning. Next morning still no WIFI when we got back at 21.00 the WIFI provider suddenly appeared. We were finally able to gain assess to some WIFI. It would be a great idea to put a notice on the back of the door. Simple instructions to gain assess to the WIFI

Easy access to everything that was of interest to me, proprietor was very helpful and friendly on the phone. Clean and secured and had everything I needed even provided tea.

Microwave oven would be ideal to heat up some food.

It is in a good location that is close to the water and like 10 minutes walk to the popular street in Gdansk. Was a good price for location and the room was generally okay. Me and my friend only stayed one night so it was okay but I don't think I would of liked to stay there longer than that.

When we arrived we called the number given to us to open the door. The door did not buzz and i had to keep phoning the lady back. It would have been easier if she just stayed on the phone untill we were inside the building. I called around 4 times untill i got in because she kept hanging up. This was a little annoying. The bathroom door is made of glass. I was sharing the room with my friend so we had to cover the door with a towel. Not a private bathroom at all. Poor design choice. We stayed on the bottom floor so could hear noise from the street all night. Kettle was very dirty with water build up.
