Villa Orchidea -San Lorenzo - Marzamemi

Lovely Villa, rustic and traditional. The outdoor area was great and pool brilliant. Walking distance to the beautiful San Lorenzo beach. Nunzia & Antonio were lovely and very helpful, even driving us into Mazamemi one day when we were struggling to find any taxis and couldn't face the long walk.

We had a slight issue with flying ants in one of the rooms one day, but luckily we managed to solve this. Not quite sure where they came from.

Lovely villa with real character and fabulous, friendly and generous hosts in Nunzia and Antonio. Pool was great and beach 5 mins walk. Loved Sicily - they just need to pick the litter up!

The villa is beautiful, comfortable and well-located down a quiet road which ends at the sea. The place has been clearly been maintained with love and care and you will want for nothing - there are spacious outdoor seating areas at the front and back of the house. We enjoyed using the brick built barbecue area, and there is even a wood fired pizza oven! A lovely beach is a 10 minute walk away, just inside the nature reserve, and there are two bars serving food and drink nearby. Marzamemi is a short drive away, which is very beautiful and atmospheric. Nunzia and Antonio were great hosts, and sent us a lot of tips on places to visit. We were two couples with children, and we couldn't have found a better place to spend 9 days :)
