Really lovely place, if youre unsure as to whether or not to try this place, do it! Only thing I would say is no Aircon, but views and scenery surrounding makes up for it. Be sure to head south along the coast too and visit Varenna and the canyon too!

The view is outstanding and the pool was very welcome. Some days we had it all to ourselves as there are only 7 apartments which is nice, it was quiet and relaxing. Beds also comfortable and staff attentive when we asked for clean towels and more toilet rolls.
Location is a bit tricky as very high up and you need a car - we had driven from the UK and we knew this but we saw some people arriving pulling suitcases up the very steep hill which must have been very unpleasant in the heat. Walk up from the lake is hard work!
Air con would be beneficial as we were there when temperatures hit over 30c. We did have a fan in each bedroom but I had asked for this beforehand after seeing the weather forecast prior to our visit.

Incredible views of Lake Como from enormous glass doors opening onto the balcony.
Very noisy with no adherence to the “quiet hours”. Cold and impersonal. Felt like a property that was managed from afar. Parking was difficult with frequent need to rearrange vehicles. Seemed like a “party spot”.
