Completely renovated gate house in a country setting surrounded by trees within 25 minutes of the city centre, Murrayfield stadium and Edinburgh Zoo. This 3 bedroom, 2 public room detached house, in a large wooded garden and with parking for 3 cars, would suit families as a base to explore Edinburgh and the rest of Scotland. A perfect retreat for visitors to Edinburgh looking for fully modernised accommodation in a quiet, country setting with beautiful views of the Pentland hills.
Set in a third of an acre of grounds, surrounded by trees, on 2 floors, completely renovated cottage.
Ground floor has kitchen with breakfast bar open plan into large dining room with table to sit 6/8 a bathroom with shower/bath, and 2 large bedrooms, all with stripped wooden floors.
First floor has a large lounge with beautiful views over the Pentland Hills, third bedroom (double) and a WC/shower room.
Central heating, washing machine, dishwasher, tumble drier, fridge freezer, electric hob and fan oven, tv, bluetooth speaker, unlimited wi-fi, 2 power showers, bath, outdoor seating area with table and 4 chairs. Parking for 3 cars.

We had a wonderful time. The cottage was cozy, well equipped and super clean. Would highly recommend. I know if we are ever in the area again we will pick the cottage as our home away from home again

Warm, cosy cottage, home away from home, great starting point to discover beatifull Edinburgh with it’s surraundings. Warm welcome from Morven and Malcolm despite our very late (early morning) arrival. Definitely recommend.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Lowood Cottage. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to relax after long days spent exploring. We absolutely loved the peaceful setting. Thank you for sharing your place with us!
