The sea is quite shallow for older kids, but at least they could play there with the ball, etc.

Slightly aging.

Nice beach, and the villas with pools are decent enough, though the hotel is past its prime—the furniture and curtains are worn. The small private pool is great when there are no sunbeds left on the beach. The staff are friendly—the young woman at reception is particularly helpful—and the hotel has the potential to be better.

I’ll start with the breakfasts, which were monotonous—the same thing every day with no variety; there was little fruit, only plain yogurt, and just toast bread (no other types available), even though it wouldn't take much to improve things. There were few sun loungers—about 15 on the beach but only 4 by the pool. Overall, the area around the pool and restaurant looked dreary; it’s July, and Christmas decorations were still hanging up. It’s clear the hotel has a poor manager, as minor changes could make a big difference. The hotel is in a secluded location, so having your own transport is a good idea; it’s a 25-minute walk one way to the nearest 7-Eleven, though there are three good places for dinner nearby.
