At the luxurious Ocean's Horizon Seaview Villa, you can completely escape from everyday life – whether you stay for a week or several months. Thanks to the home office, it’s also easy to work from here, without a major time difference to Europe. You have 270 m² all to yourself: 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living and dining area with an open fireplace, a large terrace with pool and breathtaking ocean views! The beautiful sandy beach is just a 10-minute walk away.
Ocean's Horizon Seaview Villa is located in Scarborough, an idyllic little coastal village in the southwest of the Cape region. With fewer than 1,000 inhabitants, including many artists and people who have chosen an alternative lifestyle, it’s a little paradise and a true insider’s tip! Thanks to its spectacular location on the Atlantic and its surroundings of nature reserve, the village has natural boundaries and can no longer expand. Scarborough is not designed for mass tourism, but is perfect for anyone looking for peace, relaxation and something truly special.
Many of the Cape Peninsula’s top attractions are just a short drive away, including the Cape of Good Hope, the penguin colony at Simon’s Town, Long Beach in Noordhoek and, of course, Scarborough’s picturesque local beach, where you can watch the surfers.
Depending on the season, you may even spot whales, dolphins and seals in Scarborough – and, with a little luck, directly from the terrace at Ocean's Horizon. The binoculars are already waiting! But the ocean view isn’t the only reason to look outside. At night, an incredible star-filled sky awaits, undisturbed by bright artificial lights, as the village has deliberately chosen not to have street lighting.

We celebrated our Christmas holiday at this beautiful home by the sea. The photos truly capture the beauty this home has to offer. The manager was friendly and available when we needed anything. The owners have done a wonderful job with the decor too. It is an easy walk down to the beach and the local shops as well. The neighborhood was safe and it made us feel like we were at home! We hope to return again in the future.

Warm welcome by hostess. The villa is beyond spectacular. Its location view onto the ocean an hearing its sound, the spacious design, the excellent quality of furnishings and the attention to detail by the hosts. There isn’t a single item missing, sometimes a problem with vacation rentals.

I recently stayed at house for four nights by myself as part of a two week trip to South Africa from the US. The communication was excellent from the very first request to book. Dalene the host was kind, helpful and informative. She explained everything at check in thoroughly and made sure I was comfortable throughout the stay. This location is remote but an excellent choice if you want a mix of pure relaxation and the option to go explore the Cape or some of the other bays like Simon’s Town, Clifford Beach and Camps Bay. I hiked Lion’s Head mountain (highly recommend) 45 min drive from house. Table Mountain is also a must. The house sits high up the cliff overlooking the ocean with perfect views. One of my favorite all time VRBO rentals. I highly recommended. Cozy fires were awesome after exploring throughout the day and hiking the rail behind the house was a great hike. Can’t say enough great things about the entire experience! Thank you for accuracy in your description, your hospitality and information about Capetown. A.

From the first contact through the entire stay, the host provided exceptional attention to our needs offering a stunning property. Scarborough is the perfect location to base from while visiting the Cape. Whatever adventure you choose, it is mostly within an hours drive and then you return to this lovely home to recount the day enjoying a beautiful sunset or watching the waves roll in. Beds and linens are superior, furnishings comfortable, squeeky clean and above all quiet and peaceful. If youre looking at Capetown for your visit, secure this property.
