“Our stay at these apartments in Balkanska was absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect — right in the heart of the city, yet quiet and comfortable. Nice apartment ruined by stale smoke

Good communication with hosts, nice decor although kitchen cupboards were broken. Good location and very quiet.

The whole apartment smelled of stale smoke for the duration of our stay. This made it very comfortable and unclean being non smokers.

Few days in Belgrad

Spacious apartment with a balcony and a large living room. Very nice location.

No washing machine, even though the reservation mentioned one, so we had to use a self-service laundromat (luckily it was nearby). Terrible musty, damp smell in the bathroom and in the stairwell. A better-functioning air conditioning unit would be welcome. It’s very hard to set the shower water temperature – it’s either cold or boiling hot.

Deffently Recommend this place to my friends

The apartment is big, we were 2 adults + 3 kids, and it was big enough. The owner met us at the apartment on time. Great air conditioning, good beds, and everything you need on your stay (TV with Wi-Fi, Netflix, you tube….), big dining table, small balcony Super Hamburger restaurant under the building and a coffee place

The apartment is located in an old building, literally in the basement. The view from the bedroom is on the rubbish bin whereas you can see the asphalt from the living-room. Right at the check out time the housekeeping arrived and made us leave immediately. Needs renovation especially the bathroom. Very dark inside.

Everything is wrong with this money grabbing host

Stay away from this agency. They make a business out of overcharging tourists on their vacation. First, they will ask you to deposit 150 euros via bank transfer or PayPal and then when you arrive they will ask for the rest in CASH + the charge of the deposit tranfer. The host is extremely rude and let's you know that you have no choice but to pay the extra overcharge or they will leave you out of the house essentially. The apartment itself is under decay and a piece of wood fell out of a door when we were passing underneath. The location is also very bad. You are way better if you book somewhere in the Dorcol area, where it is beautiful, full of great bars and restaurants. The only ugly memory from our visit in Belgrade, where people are warm and welcoming. You don't deserve this treatment, don't book with this host.

Not the greatest neighborhood but ok

The host was super friendly. The actual inside of the apartment is not bad also. There is paid parking.

It's advertised luke two bedrooms apartments.. In one of the bedrooms you hardly have the bed fit.. Is in very old building abd you enter through the terrace.. The parking is few hundred meters away and you need to search a parking spot to drop the remote control back. Also payment is available cash only, which i personally did not like.

Very central place in Belgrade despite few shortcomings

Location is perfect, very close to main shopping district and other tourist attractions in Belgrade. Jovanna and Mila are great hosts and very quick to reply back to my messages.

The apartment was spacious and clean, but there is a moldy smell coming from shower and lavatory drain. It is very noticeable. The apartment next door was also a rental for short stays belonging to the same company, there was a party and a lot of noise coming on Friday and Saturday night. The entrance to the apartment building is really dingy. I actually thought to myself what type of place I am getting into, but the apartment is newly renovated and no problems there.

Uninhabitable and Unsafe – Avoid This Place!

This was by far the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had. The apartment had an unbearable smell, was extremely dirty, and completely unfit for staying — the bed linen was questionable, the air was unbreathable, and the overall hygiene was shocking. Despite paying in cash at check-in, we had to leave the property the same evening and move to another hotel due to safety and cleanliness concerns. What’s worse, the property later claimed we never checked in, which is completely untrue and dishonest. Booking.com is still investigating, but I strongly warn others: do not stay here unless you want to waste your time, money, and peace of mind.

Good, but I had better options in Belgrade for the same money

Great location and very polite hosts! However, Not very family-friendly. The kitchen had dirty dishes left in the cabinet and lacked basic essentials like salt, sugar, and oil. Additionally, the remote control in the living room had oxidized batteries, making it unusable. The living room bed was uncomfortable. Parking is not suitable for bigger cars. High probability of being damaged or damage someone while parking.

Hosts were helpful. Location was great. Apartment was totally clean and comfortable. I didn't see even one piece of dust. There were markets, exchange office, public washing space and lots of amenities around. Safe neighborhood.

Stinky and ugly apartment in a good location.

The location was very good. That’s all I liked about it.

The whole apartment has a terrible smell. The bed pillows and duvet covers really need a proper washing. The sweaty smell was so dominant, it was difficult to sleep. The whole apartment really hasn’t been looked after. It was really a terrible experience. If you are blind, had covid-19 and lost your sense of smell, this place is for you.

It was clean and modern

We didn’t get what we booked cause the apartment we originally booked was apparently already taken (not sure why and how but it was still open and available for booking). We were not informed that we’ll get another and smaller appointment… When we noticed and compliant , we were told that we were upgraded to a bigger appartement (not the case) and that’s what they have available right now…. We have 3 kids, it was late at night, we we tired…. We weren’t offered any discount, no option, just: this is what we have available right now…. Highly unprofessional! Highly unacceptable….. Shame that the attitude of the hosts ruined the otherwise nice appartement (too small for us, nut nice)….

Could have done with instructions for air conditioning which we couldn’t figure out. Also cooker hob top was locked. No normal knives - only cutting sharp knives.
