The location is exquisite! Couldn’t be more perfect (if you love seclusion and being immersed in nature). The garden was the highlight for us. The perfect mix of a small sun trap to relax and for the kids to play in, with a lovely big wilderness for wildlife spotting. It was amazing watching red squirrels playing so close to us and the birds feeding right outside the kitchen window. The character of the property is fabulous. Plenty of space for us all and all the books and toys kept the whole family occupied without the need for WiFi
The property is incredibly beautiful but in need of a little maintenance. We struggled to figure out the heating as even when turned off, one radiator was belting out full heat (in the middle of a heat wave). Some of the windows are in need of repair, which wasn’t an issue for us, but I expect would be a problem for winter visitors.
