Holiday in Ornum Cottage

Very comfortable, spacious cottage. Well equipped kitchen for longer stays. Nice and cosy beds. Our host - Fiona was amazing, kindly shared her EV charger on our arrival. She did provide us with coffees, teas, milk and cake on first day. There is plenty to praise this place with but the most important is quiet and private accommodation for anyone. We already think to come back there. Thank you.

The best stay ever!

Beautiful cottage nestled in the farmlands near Beauly. Kept this as my basecamp to travel across the Scottish Highlands. It's at a comfortable 10 mins drive from Beauly where you'll find all amenities, Coop, restaurants etc.. 20-25 mins drive from Inverness. We were greeted by Elis and Fiona with their delicious homemade Cinnamon Raisin muffins. The cottage is self catering and has a well equipped kitchen with all utensils and cutlery that is needed. There is free WiFi on the property which works well. The cottage is easy to reach via Google Maps as it shows the correct route right upto the cottage. I spent 4 peaceful days in the cottage. Felt like at home here.. the hosts are extremely warm & nice and are willing to help you with whatever you need. I couldn't have imagined a better and a more comfortable stay than this.. Highly recommended!!

Amazing, beautify cottage and location Fiona was absolutely amazing, greeted us wilt lovely tasty cupcakes. All the staff were friendly and good place to be with children Can't thank them enough for making our stay pleasurable I will also recommend the place as lots of beautiful places were easy to drive.

A great place to base a family of 4 for your Northern 500 trip.

Bungalow property had a large kitchen which was well equipped and was spacious throughout. It even had a small "smokers hut" outside which we stashed all our mucky boots and fishing gear. Great idea...The wifi for the kids was excellent throughout the property. The anodised cookware provided was also appreciated. The bathroom is also disable friendly. Also very close to Aigas 9 hole golf course, Glen Afric scenic walks and the Cnoc hotel where you can also buy salmon fishing permits for local river. Oh and not forgetting the picturesque "Beauly" where you can walk in the historic Priory ruins and the stock up for your supplies in the local Scotmid supermarket.

The electric cooker controls took a bit of getting used to, but I am a fussy chef and got there in the end. The bathroom taps are either on or off so took some time to get used to that. These things are really minor and does not detract from a great cottage and lovely hosts....Thanks.

We loved our stay at the cottage. It was clean, comfortable and set in a beautiful location. The host was just wonderful and really quick at helping out when we needed anything. Also the location was ideal to explore all the Highlands. The village had everything that one may need- from food to hair salon.

It was a lovely, self catering cottage. The view was lovely and we felt we had everything we needed. The only downside was the WiFi wasn't working very well. But overall a great stay.

This cottage is really comfortable, and in a lovely location.

Lovely quiet location, and the owners were very helpful and friendly. Beautiful cottage, with great kitchen facilities and comfortable bedrooms.

The guest wifi was not secure (no password) so we kept having to rejoin it every few minutes - it was also really slow!
