The location was exactly what we wanted, secluded and remote, and very beautiful. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. We had a log fire one night which was lovely, but the radiators kept it nice and warm anyway. There was enough storage space for everything we brought and the bed was nice and big! We had constant hot water.
The only thing we didn't like was that the mattress was too hard for our taste, but others may love that.

Peace and tranquillity. This delightful little cottage sits beside a small lake after a mile along a forest track. There are fish in the pond and deer in the woods, as well as squirrels, rabbits and other native wildlife. The location is perfect for touring the borders and the excellent broadband WiFi ensures you are not cut off from civilisation. The icing on the cake is the real, log burning fire, not for heat, but just for aesthetic pleasure. An excellent getaway from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
