We spent magnificant summer holiday at Bayer apartment.

We loved our stay at Bayer apartment, everything was just perfect. Mato, the host was very kind and helpful. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The apartment was spacious and super clean, supplied with all appliances you need. Two sets of towels for every guest, comfy beds, high speed wifi inside and outside, to name few. W loved spend mornings at the swimming pool, just few steps from apartment. It was a great option when the weather was to hot for us to walk down to the beach. The location of the property is on top of the hill and some distance from the center which makes it very quiet and peaceful. Views on the bay and Old Town Herceg Novi are spectacular and we could admire them all day long. The payback is few hundred steps to climb to get there but believe me , it is worth it. We're back home and I'm already miss the place. I would definitely recommend the location and Mato as a host.

We never felt we are in rental - it was more like home

Two Bedroom apartment was very large with excellent layout. It is secluded on oversized lot with nice barbecue area. I can't really compare to other rental units we have been in the area - it is class above. Property is very well maintained. We have not tried pool as we prefer beach. View from apartment is excellent as it is high in the Old town area. Owner is prompt to answer phone and any questions we had about the area and beaches.

Access road is narrow as in any other coastal town. We drove daily to beach we prefer, although walking is also an option.

Kind host, Nice pool, clean and comfortable rooms and free fresh figs!

The host is very friendly and he gave us some super fresh figs. The rooms are super clean and are provided with everything you need. Our rental car (Toyota Yaris) could reach the accomodation and when we first couldn't the host offered to get the car for us on the hill. It is a quiet, clean stay and the pool is lovely.

Beautiful location and great host.

Mato was a fantastic host, nothing was too much for him. The appartment was clean and spacious and fully equipped. We had the ground floor appartment with the balcony which gave a stunning place to sit out an admire the view. The pool was beautiful and very welcome as it was hot, hot, hot during our stay. Herceg Novi is a fantastic base from which to see both Montenegro and Croatia. The Old Town is at the base of the hill from the appartment and has pretty alleys and squares. There is also a ruined fort to explore about 50m from the appartment. All of Kotor Bay is easily acceaible by car or boat from HN). All in all a great place that I would 100% recommend.

Nothing! However the walk back up the hill from the old town was really hard work in the heat and I class myself as pretty fit! However this is the trade off for having such a spectacular view!

Very good

This was a nice place, with a nice pool, clean, friendly owners. However, the place is literally sitting at the top of the hill which grants a good view of the bay, but it is difficult to get to, either walking up 200 steps or taking a taxi. I would recommend it for people that like to hike. If you have small kids and it will be tough to get them up to the hotel and down to the beach. My kid was too scared to take a cab, because the roads are tiny and at literally inclines of 40 degrees. The saving grace was the pool - this gives you the option of spending time by the pool in the morning and then going to the beach in the afternoon.

Peaceful Oasis of Calm

The host Mato is a wonderful and kind older gentleman who did everything to help and made my family very welcome, the GPS got a bit confused when we were trying to arrive on the first night, one quick call later and we were following our host in his car. Mato also drove me to a supermarket that night for some supplies, Appartment is spotlessly clean, large with a wonderful view and access to a lovely pool, 20 min walk down to old city and taxi less than €5 back if your not energetic. I would advise ringing Mato before arriving for directions as he is very knowledge and helpful. Hopefully will visit again in the future.

Great apartment

The apartment was very well equipped, spacious and cool because it was up the hill. The owner was very friendly. The pool was an extra bonus.

There was a lot of noise (music) coming up from the beach in the evenings.

Super!

Very clean and spacious apartment with a good kitchen and two bathrooms. And in the backyard a very clean swimming pool. Apartment is 800 meters from the city center, but it is located up on the hill, so there are a lot of stairs to climb. We stayed one week there and enjoyed, as the location is very peaceful and quiet. Very good place to stay on a family holiday! And the owner family are very friendly and helpful and arranged our airport transfer also.

Traumhaftes Domizil mit Superhost

Traumhafte Lage mit sensationellem Blick, blitzsauberes Appartment mit toller Ausstattung inkl Kaffee, Waschmittel, Spülmaschinentabs, gekühltes Trinkwasser bei Ankunft, Mato ist sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns am ersten Abend zu einem Superrestaurant gefahren - es war Sonntag und wir konnten nichts einkaufen, aber den Supermarkt hat er uns auch gleich gezeigt.Als Überraschung hatten wir an einem Tag einen Teller voll mit frischen Feigen vor der Tür. Der Pool ist auch toll und wird jeden Morgen gründlich gereinigt. Das Appartment hat keinen Balkon, aber eine Art Wintergarten - wenn man dort alle Fenster öffnet, ist es aber fast wie draußen, mit fantastischem Blick auf die äußere Bucht von Kotor.

Wirklich nichts, was Mato zuzuschreiben wäre, besser kann man nicht hosten. Wer wie wir das Schlafen bei offenem Fenster liebt, sollte wissen, dass abends der Partylärm aus Igalo recht laut zu hören ist und ab ca 5h morgens ein paar Hunde um die Wette bellen. Nur deshalb keine 10/10.
