About this house rental
"Rose Rose" is a historic home built in 1930, located 500 meters from the Bourgenay marina, 9 kilometers south of Les Sables d'Olonne. It can accommodate 2 to 5 people. My parents live there year-round and rent it out during the summer, so you won’t be staying in a soulless rental!
Ideally located, you can easily reach the harbor, the beach (European Blue Flag), the forest, the golf course, all the shops, and all the activities in Les Sables d’Olonne in just a few minutes. The many safe bike paths make it easy to get around by bike. You’ll find plenty of activities near the house (recreational parks, a water park, castles, tree climbing, kayaking, treasure hunts, museums...) The house is very well-equipped, and you’ll have high-speed Wi-Fi access.

My wife and myself had a short break with our pet dog. The house and location exceeded our expectations.
Sebastians parents greeted us and made us welcome.
The location is exceptional as is the accommodation.

This gorgeous French property, had a wonderful homely feel. Full of charm, we felt like we were guests at a family home, as we were surrounded with all the host’s beautiful possessions. The garden is a little sun trap, and gardeners paradise, so pretty. The house is set in a fabulous position, a minutes walk to a great pub and restaurants and a few small shops which include a bakery. The beach is a short drive or if you are fit you could walk it.
The hosts, who live next door, are absolutely charming, so helpful and kind. Madam had left us same stunning homemade apricot jam and brioche, such a lovely welcoming touch. We can’t thank them enough for a fantastic stay at this wonderful unique holiday home.

The hosts were very nice left us brioche and homemade jam as a welcome. The back garden is small but a nice little oasis and a sun trap. The house is like a home not a seaside rental. The bed was comfortable. Nearby there are shops, bars/restos and the port in walking distance. The beach is about a mile but very walkable and there is a quieter beach through the woods. Plenty of local sites like the oyster farms and Talmont-Saint-Hilaire chateau if you don’t want to go far. Would recommend the hosts, the house and the location

From the moment you see this wonderful property from the front gate, you just know that you're going to love it. From the first step inside the front door, you can feel it's a treasured and well cared for family home. The property manages to offer a look inside an older style home but yet offers all the expected modern day amenities. We have great respect for the owners allowing and trusting guests to look after and appreciate their belongings. Outside space was well thought out and furnished too. Very many thanks to Stephanie and Dominique for looking after us.
