Beautiful villa of 100m2 completely new adjoining an old mill overlooking the plain to warn the Château de Richard the Lionheart of a potential invasion from the sea.
Far from the time of the knights, this house will offer you all the necessary comforts of our time installed on a family estate.
The house is ideally located close to the city center and set back from the road and accessible by a small cul-de-sac path, providing you with maximum calm to make the most of your holidays.
The Vendée bike circuit passing by this path is really not trivial. The highest point of the Côte de Lumière providing a breathtaking view of the coastal plain.
40' led TV, free wifi, fully equipped and very high quality kitchen, 3 bedrooms and beds of 140, bathroom with walk-in shower, washing machine, dryer, separate toilet, sofa, relax armchair, comfortable table armchairs, bicycle garage, large cupboard, vacuum cleaner, sofa bed, deckchairs for the pool, garden furniture, swimming pool with sloping bottom from 1.10m to 1.67m secured by a bar tarpaulin and fenced by a beautiful hedge and plant bed.
The large seaside resort of Les Sables d'Olonne is only 15 km away and Jard sur mer is 7 km away, very famous for its calm and its pretty forest and seaside. Several beaches are only a few minutes away.
The activities in the Vendée are countless and the list would be tedious but as an example, the Puy du Fou (retracing the wars of the Vendée in a very famous amusement park with a course during the day and a great sound and light show in the evening), the salt marshes, the island of Yeu, the island of Noirmoutier, the Green Venice, the forest of Mervent, the beaches, the golf courses, the casinos, the alleys of Les Sables d'Olonne to discover the frescoes of 'DAN' called the island of Penotte... and the list goes on and on and we don't talk about the gastronomy: Atlantic seafood, fish, brioches, liqueurs, Mareuil wines, mojettes, demi-sec, préfou, Trouspinette !!!

We stayed in this lovely property in August. The garden and pool are beautiful. Willy was always at the end of a WhatsApp message if there were any problems. We only have 2 criticisms. The garden gate cannot be secured. Thankfully our grandson understood that he was not to go out to see the chickens (who he loved to feed our prawn shells to) without an adult with him, younger children may not. The chairs in the living room were not at all comfortable and creaked badly. However, we had a lovely relaxing family holiday and would happily stay again if returning to the area.

We spent two wunderful weeks at Willy's house. We are a family with three children. It is spacious, clean, well-equipped and has everything you need for a nice vacation. The garden and the pool are very well-kept. Willy always answered very fast when we had a problem or sent one of his relatives who live nearby.
The pool is big enough to swim and the kids loved it. Beach and Golf are in reach within 10 minutes by car. The big supermarket where you can get everything you'll need is a 5 minute ride away. There are also a few nice bakeries in the village. We highly recommend a visit at the Castle of Talmont. they have a nice program during the summer time with a Play and activities for children.
We definitely would like to return because we loved the house, the village and its surrounding.
