In the green hills of San Casciano, in the heart of Chianti between Florence and Siena, the comfort of a recently renovated house, the pleasure of a panoramic view, the relaxation of a large and silent garden. A stone's throw from the cities of art.
Guests have access to an entire apartment, which makes the uniqueness of the mix between ancient and modern. Located on the first floor of a farmhouse, the apartment has a large kitchen (with fridge, oven and dishwasher), lounge (with 40-inch TV and sofa bed), two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, hairdryer and washing machine. Free wi-fi connection and air conditioning.
Large garden with equipped gazebo, porch with tables, chairs and deck chairs, ping-pong table and the view of an ancient barn illuminated at night. Parking place.
In the open countryside, 4 km from Mercatale and 6 km from San Casciano, where there are typical shops, supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, public swimming pool, cinema, bars and restaurants. Near many farms of direct production of oil and wine. 25 km from Florence and 50 km from Siena (the entrance to the Florence-Siena highway is a five-minute drive away.

Claudio was a wonderful host Answered all our questions. The apartment was beautifully and fully equipped. The location was ideal being so close to Florence and being in the beautiful landscape of Tuscany. Very peaceful. this stay exceeded our expectations

Our only complaint is we did not stay longer! The hospitable owner obviously takes great pride in providing a clean welcoming apartment and opening up his garden for all to enjoy.

We had a very pleasant and restful week here in July.
The apartment is spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. From the house you have a magnificient view on vineyards and olive groves. The accomodation offers all modern amenities you can think of including Wi-Fi and even air conditioning. You can feel at home the moment you arrive.
Additionally, there is a wonderful garden with olive trees and und bushes of rosemary where you can relax listening to the chirping of the cicadas. Our children especially enjoyed playing table tennis.
Claudio is a very friendly owner who gave us a warm welcome and insight into history and life in Tuscany.
Florence, San Gimignano, Greve and many other beautiful places are easy to reach.
All in all - one of the best accomodations we ever had! We would really like to come back.

We enjoyed 12 days in Claudio's apartment on the first floor. A remote place but still close to e.g. Florence, San Gimigniano, Sienna and Volterra (max. 1 hour drive). Plenty of space in the apartment and the wonderful garden made the location a perfect place for us: lying in the sun, playing table tennis, sitting in the shade beneath olive trees or seeking shelter under the covered terrace when it suddenly started to rain.
