False Expectations and Poor Comfort

It was quiet and relaxing throughout my stay. The view from the room was beautiful, overlooking the hills and the forest. The parking was on sie

Unfortunately, the room did not match the description provided in the listing. There were no toiletries such as shower gel or shampoo. The kitchen was also poorly equipped — only a couple of pans and no basic items like salt or pepper, any oil, making it difficult to cook. The temperature in the room dropped significantly at night, and we were not allowed to use the thermostat, according the host untill November, even though heating was supposed to be provided. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection had no internet access, and the pool was closed during our stay. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here for more than one night, at least not in October.

The hosts, Julio and Francesca, were simply wonderful! So kind and gracious, and the dinner they prepared for us was delicious. We also enjoyed the lovely swimming pool.

Perfect place near Florence to stay and browse the Chianti region and Florence itself!

The owner, Giulio, has been very accommodating even before my arrival. I was coming from Rome and was running late. I got there at midnight. a quick call and he left the keys outside in a safe place for me to collect. Next morning, I met the man and realized ... humble individual, strive to give service, agricultural background.... now i know where I will book again on my next visit to Florence area. and the place!!! .... just need to see it with your own eyes!!!... Amazing. worth the visit and the stay. Grazie Giulio!! Next time will try also your cuisine

It was good.

The location has a beautiful view. The hosts were nice and helpful. The room was confortable. The kitchen had dishes, ustensiles, a stove and more (although it was the strict minimum, you can ask the hosts for more if needed, ex : wine opener).

The wifi did not work (the only wifi available is by the hosts work room and you have to ask them for the password). The location is far from the Florence center and the bus’ system is really not good.

the location is superb, the olive grove is very well maintained, the house is big and clean. Francesca and Giulio are very nice and cook very well, and the prices are acceptable. thank you very much for the hospitality

ok if you want a break in the peace of olive vineyard

Gulio is a helpful man. We were without our own transport and accessibility of this place was difficult due to limited transport options. No taxi, uber in this area. Gulio dropped us to the nearest bus station on our departure. He also gave us a lift when we were stuck at the bus stop

location, mosquitoes, limited old crockery. there wasn't any electric kettle, microwave. it's like a rural cottage. It's not a convenient option if you don't have your own car. wifi was very temperamental.

Peaceful property in an olive grove just outside of Florence

Giulio and his wife were incredibly accomodating - helping us get the the house (as we didn’t have a car), providing delicious meals and giving us great advise on the area. The property is conveniently just outside of Florence, but is very quiet and rural in its feel. There are wonderful views of Florence from just opposite the house, and the house is surrounded by olive trees! The pool is also beautiful and very well kept. A 5 minute drive from the property are two towns - Impruneta is particularly beautiful, and it is worth visiting the Grape Festival. The apartment was clean and well decorated with lots of space and a kitchen with everything that is needed to cook. We wish we had stayed longer !

We would recommend coming by car - it is possible to arrive and get around by bus (and take day trips into Florence - about 40 minutes by bus) but the buses are not very frequent.

Heaven in Tocana

Piece of heaven in the middlle of Toscana. Perfect location to explore all around. Apartman was pretty clean and comfortable. The view is more than enough to fall in love in this residence. Clean pool with view on Toscana hills - personaly, this was top of my experiance, although pool was not main factor when we booked the place. Giulio is very good host! I would 100% came back again. Everyrhing was perfect!

Space around pool is a bit problematic becouse of garden facade is being torn off and mess sunbathing area. This shouldn't stop you to book the place, because everyhing else will compensate this for sure!

Very well placed to visit Tuscany (Firenze, Siena, San Gimignano, Chianti) Pool is great, with nice view on the hills, atmosphere is peaceful. Parking is no problem. Houses are nice, basic furniture but comfortable enough. We loved our experience

Not really a big issue, but Gulio, the owner, could be very helpful and friendly, to a bit gruff, given the moment of the day. Some would say he is a typical Florentine man of agriculture, which has its charm also 🙂

The location was beautifull and easy to reach. The property was very nice, nice rooms and an amazing pool. The hosts were so kind and helpfull. We did not have a car but they took us to the supermarket.

Beautiful house, beautiful cozy apartment in gorgeous surroundings. Nice owner, good location. Great value for money.

We did not choose the best time to visit this place, the restaurant was closed, there was some construction work going on and the room was pretty cold the first night. But during the summer this must be a real heaven!

Очень дружелюбный хозяин. Бассейн с прекрасным видом. Тишина и прекрасные пейзажи тосканы. На первом этаже номера поставили кровать для нашего ребёнка, что было очень удобно. Вкусная домашняя еда и вино в ресторане. Ресторан не работает по понедельникам, но хозяин посоветовал нам хорошую пиццерию неподалёку. Мы обязательно вернёмся в это место ещё раз, если будет такая возможность.

К сожалению наш номер не был оборудован кондиционером, а поездка пришлась на аномально жаркую погоду. Спать на втором этаже было достаточно душно, хотя спальня была оборудована вентилятором. Было много москитов, поэтому обязательно возьмите с собой спрей от москитов. Рекомендуем создать какое-то меню в ресторане, или фиксированную стоимость ужина. Бассейн работает до 6 вечера, что не очень удобно, если вы днём едете в город. Однако хозяин был приветлив и не выгонял нас из бассейна после 6 вечера 😊

Piacevolissimo soggiorno e relax sui colli a due passi da Firenze.

Innanzitutto la disponibilità e la cordialità di Giulio e moglie che hanno saputo metterci a nostro agio e sono sempre stati gentilissimi. La pulizia degli ambienti, la posizione, la piscina sempre ben pulita ed efficiente, la cucina e l'ampio parcheggio. Appartamento dotato di tutto, si può comodamente prepararsi da magiare e cenare fuori sul piazzale. Consiglio vivamente il soggiorno presso questa struttura che, ricordo situata in collina, ma essenzialmente in campagna dove si può udire il trillo del gallo. Noi ritorneremo sicuramente. grazie Giulio

Fantastisch!

Julio is zo gastvrij en het zwembad is heerlijk! Ook de omgeving is erg mooi! Je kan met de auto maar ook met de bus. Bussen rijden paar keer per dag naar Florence. Bushalte voor de deur.

Mejor imposible.

Superó totalmente nuestras expectativas. Está muy bien situado para visitar la Toscana. Ha sido una experiencia totalmente recomendable. La piscina es un lujo!!! Y que decir de Giulio... es una persona muy amable y cercano. Es un placer encontrar gente así. Gracias.
