Holiday Home Casa delle Fiabe by Interhome

It is exactly what I dreamed of when I was thinking about staying in a villa in Tuscany. Charming and rustic with plenty of room for everyone. The pool was wonderful and kept us cool during the day.

It was so hot! You had to leave the windows open or you would die from the heat but that let all the bugs in. My poor family was eaten alive by mosquitoes. I knew it didn’t have AC but I didn’t realize it would be so very hot. Also, it came with one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, no paper towels or dish soap. No amenities at all. We had to go to the market first thing the next day.

Nice location, beautiful landscape, but still close enough to various interesting cities (Florence, Siena, etc.)

Interhome had given me the wrong telephone number, name and address. When I tried to contact them on the number they sent me, I was unable to reach them (stuck at the menu options somehow) but was later charged 7 euro's or so because I kept calling the international/paying number. Finally found a different number online and they connected me with the landlord. Landlord is a bit of a special character, but friendly enough. Would not advise anyone to go there during autumn or winter without four-wheel drive, because you'll park below a steep and muddy ramp. And with current gas prices, you'd pay a fortune.

Difficult to find , we seemed to have the wrong address
