About this villa rental
Villa Hermosa is a prestigious villa with swimming pool and a view of the blue sea of San Nicola l'Arena, one of the most attractive seaside resorts on the northern coast of Sicily. The Villa is very bright, thanks to the numerous large windows and the four terraces of the house, and very fresh, thanks to the openings on all sides that make it very ventilated. The Villa is very comfortable and welcoming, equipped with all the comforts that will make your holiday unforgettable. The strong point of the villa is the sea view swimming pool, which is very large and has three different seabed levels (shallow for small children, minimum depth 1.5 and maximum 3 meters). The outdoor shower is located near the swimming pool. The swimming pool is surrounded by a terrace, partly covered and partly outdoors, furnished with chaise-longues, sofas and a table with chairs. A large glass door leads to the living room with sofa, TV, table with chairs, fireplace, fully equipped open plan kitchen. Adjacent to the kitchen there is a second terrace with table and chairs and access to the barbecue area and external wood oven, and to the internal garden with children's play area. From the living room on the ground floor there is access to a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and air conditioning, and to another bathroom for common use. The staircase in the living room on the ground floor leads to the lower floor where there is a second large living room with sofas and a pool table, a triple bedroom (double bed and single bed) and a bathroom. The same staircase leads from the living room to the first floor where there is a double bedroom, a triple bedroom (double bed and single bed) with air conditioning, and a bathroom with shower.
The Villa is equipped with Wi-Fi. Indoor parking available for guests.
Tourist tax €1,00 per person per night.
Since 2021 in the area it is started separeted waste. There is a collection point where to throught out your garbage. Please, it is mandatory to respect the collection calendar that will be provided at check in time.
A penalty of €100 could be applied in case of no respect of this rule.

Overall, we did enjoy our stay; Erica met us and took us to the villa and showed us around which was nice as we could ask any questions.
The villa is a little tired compared to the pictures; in one of the bedrooms we could not open the blinds as they did not work and the windows could do with a good clean. We had several cats around the property and were told not to feed or interact with them, which we did not. I could not open the kitchen door as the cats were often around!
Now for the mosquitoes, they are a nightmare, and it is due to the time of year we went but they were relentless; one of us had about 43 bites, even with having candles out, spraying our bodies and burning the coils, we could not have the doors of the property open at any time of the day or night because of this. There is also no covered outside area at all, so when the weather was not great, wind or rain, we had to sit inside for our meals with the doors closed. The pool is great, although 2/3rds of it is too deep to stand in. The views are the best part. The villa is quite remote but it was only a 40-minute drive to most of the attractions, Mondella Beach and Cefalu, a gorgeous little town to visit and have lunch. We did enjoy our stay, but it would have been a lot better without the pesky mosquitoes and if there had been a covered outside area. Thank you.

This private Sicilian villa was the perfect week long destination for our multi-family group visiting for weddings in Bagheria and Cefalu. Three levels of comfortable living space, a well equipped kitchen, and numerous outdoor terraces around the large swimming pool gave our family plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the wonderful weather and views. Renting a car is must, but the gated property is a close drive to beaches, restaurants, and grocery shopping.

We had a great time. Loved the pool and the house. Plenty of room. Easy to get to Palermo and Cefula. Location and house reminded me of Topanga Canyon.

We enjoyed our stay here. However, we had some problems regarding noise complaints during the day while just swimming and talking. The communication about this went somewhat poorly. For the rest, the house was really nice, big and close to Palermo.
