About this apartment rental
This apartment is on the ground floor of Residence Chateau Vallaya, a small tiered complex of 24 apartments built in 2005. The living-room opens onto an L-shaped patio and private garden looking south and west over the harbour of Garavan in Menton. There are 2 bedrooms, one double en suite and one twin with shower room. A separate WC is provided off the hall. The kitchen which is off the sejour, has a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, electric oven & ceramic hob. TV and Wi-fi, are also supplied. All towels/bed linen (not beach towels) are provided. The main entrance is on the top floor with lift access to all apartments. Our excellent location means you do not need a car, but a private parking is provided if necessary.
There is also a well maintained communal garden with fine palms & ornamental trees. A shared unheated swimming pool, open only during the peak summer season, is also available, surrounded by a sun terrace with loungers for sunbathing. Please note that there are stairs in the garden as well as to access the residence’s second exit through the garden gate; therefore, this apartment is not ideal for guests with mobility difficulties.

great property possition.wasnt told the pool doesnt open until 1st June.Garden was unkept and needed attention.Rubbish bins not good to kind.Overall an enjoyable stay.

We stayed here from 7- 14 April 2026. it was convenient to all transport links. The one disadvantage for us was one very steep hill to get to the property. We are age 80 and 76. We managed with taxi's. Along Menton sea frontthere are some excellent restaurants.

The property is very well located an easy walk into Menton and close to restaurants and a good supermarket. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden and swimming in the pool. Thank you to Charlotte for excellent communication and patience as we took a while to find the property and park! If we came back, we would choose a more compact hire car as the garage for the property is quite difficult to access in a large vehicle. But would definitely recommend!

A lovely spacious apartment with everything you need. Large garden space and patio. The pool is literally next to the apartment. The pool is used more for a cooling off swim, you can take your sun beds up to the pool area, but most people just had a quick swim then back to your apartment for relaxing. Menton is beautiful, we were really impressed. About a 15/20min walk into the main area. It is a lovely walk along the shore, with a few restaurants/bars on the way. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Very clean. Short walk to the Italian border! We regularly used the trains to visit other areas, they were on time and stopped at Menton Garavan (nearest train station) every 30mins. If you are a rugby fan William Webb-Ellis is buried in Menton Cemetery. A good visit and lovely views from the top! The beach is more shingle than sand but we didn't mind that.
