Unusual quirky beautiful mill and setting

Buffet style. Prepared food especially for us as were gluten free. Very impressed with the service we received. Beautiful location and old mill was gorgeous.

Very basic rooms and toilet facilities. Expensive for what it was.

Incredible setting but sadly not a functioning hotel for a family.

The location on the river was absolutely stunning, amazingly picturesque and peaceful. The building itself is incredible and the owner was very friendly and hospitable, but this is not a family hotel. It is an artists’/musicians’ residence with a very relaxed approach to hospitality.

The ‘family restaurant’ was non existent. We had been driving all day and arrived early evening expecting to stay and relax for dinner with 3 young children. However there was no bar or restaurant on site, the only option was a 3 course set menu at 9pm at their theatre after a classical music concert. We walked into the local village but there were no eating options, so ended up with takeaway pizzas from a local town 15 mins drive away. The rooms were clean but tired and the bathrooms even more so. Sewage smells from the drains kept us awake at night.

Great place to stay

Beautiful location in historical and cultural monument. Quiet surroundings at the boards of Seine river with great outdoors area and the park. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Great place for couples.

We have ordered dinner but we found it quite overpriced for the choice of food we were given. We were informed that dinner would be in the form of the buffet with good choice of meals but in fact there was not many options for people who don't it seafood and there only vegetarian options available. There was a quiche and some salads which were good but part of the group who does not eat sea food ended up hungry after the meal. Otherwise the stay was nice and the chef of the restaurant as super nice.

j'avais réservé une chambre triple avec vue sur la Seine et la chambre Sénéchal devait m'être attribuée mais j'ai eu une chambre double avec vue sur des arbres. 15 euros m'ont été remboursés par la secrétaire mais la déception de ne pas avoir eu la chambre que j'avais réservée à l'occasion du WE de mon anniversaire est une grande déception pour moi. Cela veut dire qu'on ne peut pas avoir confiance en ce qui nous a été confirmé. J'ai eu la chambre Galopin, petite, poussiéreuse avec vue sur des arbres et non sur la Seine et qui est une double et non une triple. Ma réservation n'a pas été prise en compte alors qu'il était clairement écrit en interne que la Sénéchal devait m'être attribuée. Comme vous l'aurez compris, je suis extrêmement déçue

Sehr alt aber nicht verkommen, manches muss restauriert werden, aber das sind kleine Gartenhäuschen, die eh nicht für die Gäste gedacht sind. Eine Mühle aus dem 12. Jhd. , die schon viele Promis empfangen hat: Ernst Jünger, Jeanne Moreau, Henri Truffaut. Jeanne d'Arc soll eine Nacht dort verbracht haben, bevor sie 2 Tage später in Rouen verbrannt wurde. Die Lage an der Seine ist ruhig und einzigartig

Le Moulin d'Andé é il posto più bello, romantico, affascinante e incredibilmente autentico che abbia mai visto in vita mia. É un piccolo borgo antico con un grande mulino in disuso sulle sponde della Senna. La sua storia è molto interessante, così come gli ospiti illustri che vi hanno soggiornato. Le camere sono ben tenute, in stile e con ottimi letti e biancheria. Tutta la tenuta, compreso il teatro dove tutt'e le sere c'è la possibilità di cenare a buffet, é incredibilmente magica. Consiglio vivamente di soggiornare in questa residenza d'artista.

Ein bemerkenswertes historisches Anwesen mitten in der Natur

Die Unterkunft liegt etwas abgelegen, aber dafür sehr ruhig und naturnah. Es handelt sich um ein etwas alternatives Anwesen, das schon ein paar Jahrhunderte hinter sich hat. Die Zimmer sind aber, so weit es für ein so altes Anwesen möglich ist, mit allem Erwartbaren ausgestattet. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es kann aber passieren, dass man bei der Ankunft vor einem verschlossenen Tor steht und man versuchen muss, telefonisch jemanden zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist eher einfach gehalten. Die Gastgeberin organisiert in einem ca. 500 m entfernten "Theater" oft ein gemeinschaftliches Abendessen.

Das Anwesen war bei unserer Ankunft verschlossen. Auf Klingeln wurde nicht reagiert, weil die Rezeption nicht besetzt war. Ein Telefonat hat die Situation aber geklärt. WLAN war nur im Frühstücksraum verfügbar.

Un cadre idyllique

Un cadre idyllique au bord de l'eau, des jardins magnifiques, et un concept culturel tout à fait unique en son genre, nous avons été complètement dépaysé! Le personnel est adorable et le restaurant est convivial (grande table avec d autres clients). Nous avons adoré ! La chambre est cosy et minimaliste avec une décoration en lien avec le cadre artistique du lieu.
