Korcula is litlle Dubrovnik-dream vacantion

The complex is huge and the location was amazing, beautiful swimming pools (salt water and infinity pool) easily accessible in the old town of Korkula, not too far away, about 25 minutes walk, 7 minutes by taxiboat (cost 3 euros/person), 10 minutes by electric bus - 12 euros/bus. The rooms are perfect for a family of 4, you have everything you need, cleaning almost daily, the bathroom was big and well decorated. The hotel is next to a supermarket for any needs. The beaches surround this complex, you have a small one with sand, with pebbles and a wilder one with 7 umbrellas, where you can rent a paddle board, have a quick bite and of course enjoy a drink in a quieter place. All the staff were friendly and helpful, the girls at the reception were excellent.

If you look with a critical eye you always have something to comment on... So, drinks are a little bit expensive and beds not very comfortable.

Awful experience

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our stay. Upon arriving at the apartment we noticed that there was mold on the ceiling of every room. We immediately informed reception about the situation. As a result two hotel employees came to inspect the issue. After a quick glance we were informed that what we saw was actually "bad painting" not mold (which was obviously not true, we will attach photos as evidence) and that they cannot do anything about it. We once again informed reception and were given another apartment which also had mold! After that we decided to inform the reception yet again. There were no apartaments or hotel rooms for substitution and we were forced to search for another place to stay. Nobody even appologized for the whole situation. I would advice anyone to stay away from this place.

Lovely hotel by the beach, good jumping off point for trips.

Lovely well designed apartments with all you needed very close to a well stocked supermarket and within walking distance of two lovely beaches.

The aircon was in the main room only and we had a heatwave. The wider hotel looked tired, the day beds on the beach need to be removed and there are two cafes on the beachside that should be open in August when the hotel is full.

Did not meet expectations

The water taxis were really good. The beaches were nice.

The beds were really uncomfortable. The air conditioning was not sufficient which made it very uncomfortable to sleep in. We had to all sleep in the same room because of this. There were not enough sun beds or towels at the beaches and pools for residents. Having to pay your beds at the beach is a bit excessive. There was only one restaurant open at night. Most of the bars and restaurants were closed during our stay. The grounds were unkept and need more maintenance.

Awful place walking distance from Korcula Old Town

The bath towels were large and very soft. The room slept 4 which is not always easy to find in Europe.

The property vastly misrepresented itself. The photos shown on Booking do not at all match the actual accommodations. The private “beaches” are small areas that butt up against a marina and the water is murky brown. Not at all what you come to Korcula for. The pools close early so even if you want to swim there, you can’t if you go out and see things during the day. It was very crowded, the room wasn’t cleaned even when we left the sign out, and at one point my husband walked out on the balcony to find a naked man on the balcony next door. I contacted Booking upon arrival to cancel the stay so we could find somewhere else and was told they’d get back to be in 24 hours. That was 3 days ago. If I had it to do over again I’d skip Korcula Town all together and stay somewhere in Lumbarda, but if Korcula Town is your thing, I’d definitely steer clear of this place.

Location is great in a separate cove on the island of Korcula. Friendly and helpful staff. Activities during the evening and during the day. Good value and plenty of options in terms of things to do.

Lovely beach front resort. Three swimming pools, including an infinity pool and two quieter sea water pools, and a private beach. Quick hop over to Korcǔla town via a reasonably priced boat taxi.

Extortionate for what you get

Spacious location, across the road from a supermarket and direct access to/ from hotel with water taxi (£3 each way) although we did not know this when landing at the port and paid €15 for a 6 minute taxi

For €170 a night (not including tourist tax) you would expect the sun lounges at the beach to be included in the price but they are not - €8 per person per day. Drinks in the pool bar were also extortionate (€10 for a small somersby). Felt like it was not worth the money when adding it all up

Beautiful location, very clean, high standard, friendly staff (except for the rude man at the swimming pool who was a bit arrogant/ aggressive- only down fall).

I liked everything- except the staff/ man who was by the pool who was extremely rude. He confronted me in quite an aggressive manor questioning whether or not I was a guest and in a way in which it caught everyone’s attention and it made me feel uncomfortable/ embarrassed- I really think he should be told about this.

Exceptional

When I booked this apartment I didn't realise I was booking into a resort. I normally look for a block of no more than 12 apartments near the sea or with a pool or an individual one. So it was a bit of a shock when I realised how big it was. However I need not have worried. The facilities were fabulous with the infinity pool and sea water pool. The setting in the bay was beautiful and all the staff were really friendly. Each day we got the bin emptied and the offer of clean towels plus there were towels to use at the pool. We visited just as the school summer holidays were ending so it wasn't crazy busy but if you have children I would still recommend highly.

The fact that the apartments are (partly) occupied by school camps with teenagers which does not gave us a ‘resort feeling.’ Apartments somewhat outdated, not really 4-star quality. A wedding with loud music until 4 am has costed us one night of sleep.

The location was great. Being able to quickly get into Korcula old town or off to other beaches and islands was fantastic. The facilities were great for the most part, places like the main pool and kids game centre were nicely done; but others such as the old mini golf and saltwater pools were run down. Our apartment was very clean and comfortable, great cleaning staff! So close to the supermarket also which was great. The food at the (non buffet) dinner restaurant was fabulous.

The noise of air con units from other rooms was very loud. Food at the beachfront bar was hit and miss, great one day, not so much the next. Lack of info on what was available in the resort - we saw things like tennis courts and etc and hired them unknowing that there was a charge. We used it twice before being told. Other facilities like spa / jacuzzi and gym and massage we didn’t even know about until our last day. Ditto SUP hire and beach chairs - what was and wasn’t included for guests? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Just give guests a list with opening hours and prices when they arrive! People taking all the deck chairs at the pool and not using them most if the day was very annoying.
