Great location and best value for money hotel. It was exceptionally clean, welcoming, and served as the perfect base for me and my daughter to explore Jiufen during our trip. We couldn't have asked for a better and more comfortable spot to rest.

The room was in reasonable condition and sheets were clean. Amenities available as advertised. The location was near the top of Jiufen and therefore less cluttered, and good enough sea view.
Average soundproofing. My room was adjacent to the main entrance, and it was noticeable with other guests using it. The bathroom design was slightly unorthodox, having no separation between shower, toilet and wash basin. Points deducted for sea view due to foliage obscuring sun at sunset, but excellent vantage points are never far away.

- I liked the view
- I liked the location but it was quite a few steps up (~10-15 minutes) with our heavy luggage (I did not get the memo to leave my luggage at the bottom/don't bring luggage)
- It wasn't the easiest hotel to get to but fine once we had settled in
- I found the online check-in a bit clunky and would have preferred a person checking us in

Easy location for the lanterns and market
Had to wait until we got there for the code to the door rather than it getting sent to me before I arrived, blinds not covering the windows completely so people could still see in if they wanted
