About this house rental

This traditional Grade II listed farmhouse is a spacious, six bedroom, comfortable property boasting modern and traditional elements. This is a perfect location for a rural reunion with friends or family in the midst of the heart of England’s farming land.

Originally built in the late 17th Century, Moorhall Farm has been a family home for the Brodie family since 1936 and it is still used today as part of the working farm. Your immediate neighbours will be our herd of beef cattle.

The farmhouse is situated just off the A44 on the Worcestershire/Herefordshire border, 4 miles from the market town of Bromyard on the outskirts of the village of Whitbourne.

“An incredible Stay!
This place truly was a fantastic find for me and my family. A newly furnished family home with 6 bedrooms and huge amounts of communal space. Fab location too. The owner is also very welcoming and accommodating to suit needs.”

Clean tidy house with everything we needed for a family weekend. Great location, plenty of space, and a house very easy to move around and accommodate 14 of us.Hot tub a great addition.Animals all around us in close fields were loved by the kids. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic property, great size and location it accommodated myself and 9 friends perfectly. An added bonus was the hot tub! Would definitely recommend a visit to Frome Valley vineyard only a 15 minute uber ride away, really interesting and informative tour with wine tasting - essential to pre book. We ordered the Caribbean takeaway from the hosts and it didn’t disappoint! Lucy is a fantastic host, and we all said we’d love to return and would highly recommend the property to others.

It was the perfect venue for our multi generational family gathering. Lucy was a very helpful and communicative host. The farmhouse was huge but still cosy. Well equipped kitchen. Huge table that comfortably seated 11 of us. Well heated and plenty of hot water. Super comfy beds and bed linen. Games room, toys, dvds, books. Clean and hot hot tub! In beautiful countryside with an easy walk to a waterfall and river. Actually on a farm and my grandchildren loved watching the sheep with their lambs, cows and pigs. It really was a fabulous stay and I highly recommend it.

Beautiful property only partially spoilt by the numerous paper signs with the copious house rules and check out process. A considerable amount of cleaning beyond what I would consider appropriate is asked of guests, particularly given the relatively early check out of 10am.On the other hand it is a lovely area, there is plentiful parking. The garden is enclosed however in part by a low wall and given the livestock around we did not feel comfortable letting our dog of leash but others may feel differently. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with equipment. There are several shared spaces, and each set of rooms has their own bathroom and so you have plenty of space overall.
