About this farm stay rental

This traditional Grade II listed farmhouse is a spacious, six bedroom, comfortable property boasting modern and traditional elements. This is a perfect location for a rural reunion with friends or family in the midst of the heart of England’s farming land.

Originally built in the late 17th Century, Moorhall Farm has been a family home for the Brodie family since 1936 and it is still used today as part of the working farm. Your immediate neighbours will be our herd of beef cattle.

The farmhouse is situated just off the A44 on the Worcestershire/Herefordshire border, 4 miles from the market town of Bromyard on the outskirts of the village of Whitbourne.

Every possibility catered for in the kitchen. We were a large party of 13 - 7 adults and 6 children. So much space enabled snooker in one room, games in another, and quiet area. All bedrooms very spacious and well appointed. Lovely and warm at this time of year. Children found all the different staircases exciting. Also the hot tub was another adventure. A very enjoyable week away.

Perfect for a large mixed group with an abundance of rooms that can be set up to work for families, couples or friends. The big open plan communal area was great and the games room and hot tub were real hits.

There were 10 friends gathering from across the country. This house and location was perfect for us. Spacious with seating for inside and outside, well equipped, comfortable beds, large bedrooms, check in easy, games room and a lovely hot tub. Lucy communicated the check in / check out and the house is well stocked with information about the surrounding area. We visited Frome Valley Vineyard and pre-ordered taxis. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend.

We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay with 3 generations traveling the UK from the US. The property gave us plenty of room and the large kitchen was perfect for family breakfasts before exploring the area. Everyone from babies to toddlers to teens in our group enjoyed their time here. I visited with a group of friends for a university reunion - 8 adults and 5 children and we had a wonderful bank holiday weekend! The property was fantastic, there was loads of space to park our 4 cars and there was a great communal space with the kitchen, lounge and pool room all linked together making it easy to keep an eye on the kids whilst not needing to all be in the same room.We also had our own family space as the bedrooms were laid out really well with separate little staircases for access. There was a good variety of rooms, allowing for us to have the children close by, either in the same room or next door.The farmhouse was really well equipped and had everything we needed to prepare our meals.The hot tub was an added bonus!Communication with the owner was great and they were close by when we needed their help.I would definitely recommend the farmhouse for groups of family or friends.

We throughly enjoyed our stay here , such a lovely house , pool table is a huge bonus , kitchen well equipped with everything you need with added extras provided like tea coffee and sugar , beautiful location and property owners absolutely fab and on call if you need anything ! The property I think had been vacant for some time before we arrived. It was very clean but there were a lot of flies but that has to be expected on a farm. We soon sorted it and there was no bother from then on. The hosts were so helpful with anything we needed. Marked the accuracy of the listing down due to the hot tub. We booked it thinking that was included. Would have preferred for it not to have been mentioned.

Bank holiday weekend celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary with our three grown up children, their partners and children. The house was perfect, with most families able to have a self contained area for their family. The kitchen area was well equipped and all 15 of us could sit at the table together. Lots of parking and lovely countryside surrounding the house.

Many hours sat round the large outside table and the kitchen table - eating and playing games. The rooms were all clean, beds comfy, and 4 bathrooms was really appreciated by a large group! Lucy the owner was fantastic all the way through the booking, pre-arrival and post-arrival processes. The property is so unique and absolutely huge, so easily accommodated our family of 13 people. It is a working farm and you live next to cows and tractors, but it all adds to the rural experience and one we'd definitely all recommend

Really enjoyed our stay here - 16 of us plus dog, spread over three generations - and would certainly return. The house was cozy (loved the wood burner in the lounge) and clean. The age of the property gave it some real charm. We didn’t really use the outside space, but did enjoy a couple of muddy walks in the surrounding area.

Had a fantastic time here with kids and grandkids in a delightful farmhouse. The house was so well designed for all the little family groups we have and well equipped for large family meals, entertaining everyone and finding space to chill away from everyone if needed. Lucy, the host, was so very helpful with all things to do with our short stay and always on hand when needed. The fact that the house was surrounded by so much open space, lots of animals to keep the little ones entertained and within a very short walk the most amazing waterfall and weir. Every single family member of all ages and sizes loved the house and clearly Lucy and her family thought of everything needed for such a break. Thank you Lucy.

We are a group of of four families with children ranging from 1 to 8 years of age, and we had a lovely stay at Moorhall Farm. It was very well catered for with lots of games and DVDs for both the children and adults. The kitchen was also very well equipped. Lucy our host was very approachable and great with communication. The property was a great size, bedrooms all good sizes and the king beds were such a treat! The layout was really great for socialising, large kitchen with plenty of table/seating space, plenty of cutlery and crockery! And a good size outside area too to enjoy the sun. Lucy is a fab communicator and answered all of my questions over email before the trip and checked via text during stay. My Godson loves cows so these neighbours were very well received. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would definitely recommend to others. Thank you so much ☺️
