Passable

Very picturesce setting in delightful historic village. Beautiful garden. Short drive to Bagnone which was the main attraction for us.

, We were very disappointed by the customer service. Like other reviewers we had the feeling of being treated likes second class citizens. Our simple requests such as asking to dine outside with a view of garden, and to take some wine at 6pm were refused. We booked (and paid) 4 days but departed after only 3. We were only couple staying but were given an inferior room to advertised rooms. Breakfast choice was limited, until third day when Italian guests arrived, choice of cereals, meat etc suddenly improved!! The staff were at times unavailable, hard to find, and could not be contacted during our journey when we had questions regarding were to eat etc. Each morning we were woken early by workmen doing repair work. We understood this was necessary but the staff did not offer any apologies. We would be hesitant to recommend to non Italian speaking guests. This is sad because the location is superb.

* The swimming pool was modern and in a good shape; * The dinner in the restaurant was good taken care of;

* The reception was very limited and distant. Communicating with the host or staff was very difficult in english; * As non italian guests, we felt as if we were treated differently in a negative way; * The rooms were very basic and the comfort was very limited; * The breakfast did not meet our expectations. From our view: Not much effort was given on preparing a good breakfast. TO CONCLUDE: The price is not in range with the quality.

Beautiful setting in Tuscany Lovely pizza oven and grill

Simple food cooked very well on the charcoal grill and pizza oven but don’t expect any veg Vegans and veggies beware !!! You’re ok here if you like meat dressed with a spud! Everything seems based around the restaurant and wedding side rather than the hotel side of things, which is a shame when you provide a whole package !!! We stayed overnight here and to say it’s laid back would be an under statement, waited at reception for 15 minutes before chasing some staff down the laneway to get someone’s attention I wouldn’t be in a rush to stay here as an overnight guest again, although the Tiramisu is worth the trip alone!! The shower cubicle is tiny The tv is tiny There was no toilet seat in our bathroom There’s no iron or ironing board in the rooms and you cannot get WiFi unless you’re outside of your rooms But like i say, the restaurant and wedding side is their main business and that side does very well The pizza oven and grill area is impressive, as is the pool, but that’s only superficial when all is said and done Miserable staff topped it all off

La chambre est un peu vétuste et mériterait un peu plus d attention, mais c’est propre. Petit-dejeuner ok, personnel très sympathique avec les clients italiens et moins avec les étrangers… dommage.

Bellissma struttura ed accoglienza

Bellissima struttura immersa nella natura in lunigiana in posizione strategica per escursioni e visite ai principali punti d'interesse della zona. Staff e proprietari offrono una accoglienza inusuale che ti fa sentire immediantamente a casa. Ottima cucina, nella bella stagione è fantastico mangiare nel giardino curarissimo. Ottima anche la piscina. Struttura pet friendly. Ottima anche la colazione.

A voler essere pignoli menzione negativa per i cuscini che nelle strutture ricettive son sempre mollissimi.

Wat een bijzondere accommodatie! Zeker geen spijt van deze tussenstop tijdens onze doorreis in Toscane. Het eten was ook fantastisch. Heerlijk rustig plekje.

In de omgeving was niet zoveel te doen. Maar als je de drukte wilt ontvluchten in het hoogseizoen is het heerlijk.

Gusto e tradizione

Il servizio di ristorazione è di alto livello, con ingredienti di assoluta qualità e piatti originali e squisiti, così come la carta dei vini, con vasta selezione di proposte locali e nazionali. In generale il casale è molto piacevole ed in ottime condizioni, ha uno splendido giardino, belle strutture rustiche, rinnovate nel rispetto delle caratteristiche originarie. I gestori ed il personale sono davvero cordiali e disponibili. Bella e ben tenuta anche la piscina, ben inserita nel contesto complessivo. Il contesto intorno alla struttura è assai carino, con un piacevole sentore di antico mondo rurale.

Con le finestre aperte la stanza era ben areata ma alle finestre sarebbero utili le zanzariere, più per le mosche, assai numerose, che per le zanzare. Il tv in dotazione non funzionava (meglio, non riceveva nessun canale).
