Great place to stay at Lahinch

Lovely family run hotel, kind and considerate owner, Thomas. Delicious breakfast included, and the most amazing home made soda bread. It's a few minutes walk from the beach, shops etc. And the bus stop is across the road.

Top marks for the staff - proper céad míle fáilte

The staff - proper traditional Irish welcome, they honestly couldnt do enough for you. The location - within walking distance of all the main bars & restaraunts The breakfast - the full Irish was 10/10 & staff were very attentive at all times

The rooms are very dated. The main light wasnt working. The beds are really uncomfortable. We faced directly out on to the main road and heard everything, so didnt sleep both nights just with the noise of the traffic outside. There was a very strong sewerage smell too but just put this down to the age of the building. Although I marked it down, I would still be inclined to return as the staff were amazing.

A great fin

Lovely old hotel in perfect location for exploring Lahinch. It's family run and it was a pleasure chatting with the owner. A perfect host! Basic room with everything I needed and a great shower as well. The breakfast was delicious, too. Reasonable rates. I will return.

Great town! Wonderful proprietor. Perfect location to walk to town for dinners.

Location. Except our room was on the front, so traffic noise was a small issue. We go to bed early, so noticed the noise. But we sleep soundly, once asleep.

Loved the proximity to everything, the friendly and helpful staff, big rooms plus great breakfast.

Lovely family run hotel close to the town centre and the golf course - extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel at home with an Irish touch - beautiful breakfast in the mornings serviced with a smile from the lovely young staff members. Big rooms and big bathrooms.

Convenient location and friendly staff. They offer a very nice breakfast. The rooms are dated and don’t look like they have been updated since opening but the beds were comfortable and it was clean and quiet.

A wonderful stay in a lovely hotel!

A very friendly wee hotel. Thomas, the proud owner & his family & staff were so warm & welcoming. They made time to chat & tell us about the area, its history & also to make very helpful reccommendations. This hotel is not modern, but what you do get is very nostalgic experience & you can feel the genuineness, history & a strong sense of tradition, family, community & pride throughout. Standards matter & you can sense that its really important to the owners that you have a good time while you stay. The beds & bedding are very comfy, the showers are lovely & the breakfast is delicious - with a wide selection of foods available. The service was 5☆ throughout & nothing was too much bother.

I stayed here for the Lahinch trad fest. The location was perfect, a few minutes walk from the town centre and beach. Breakfast was very good - full irish, eggs or even fish and lovely brown bread The owner was welcoming and friendly and the waiting staff were lovely. Rooms were very clean and the beds were comfy.I would def recommend and will be back next year.

Only improvements i would suggest would be to make offer some fruit, and real coffee instead of Nescafe, with breakfast. However there's a lovely coffee shop across the road.

Excellent Stay.

Had an excellent stay. Staff very friendly, room in excellent condition Location excellent. We only had breakfast there, it was lovely. My stay at the Santa Maria Hotel was excellent. I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Lahinch. Co. Clare.

We arrived and instantly felt welcomed by Thomas, who avowed us to see the rooms and the views we would have. He then spent quite a bit of time talking to us about the hotel (family built and continued family ran) and the wonderful village its located in.

Difficult to purchase groceries ( we were travelling by bicycle) extremely hilly to get to and from their nearest decent grocery store.

Lovely comfortable hotel

excellent location close to all amenities in lahinch, 15 minute drive from the cliffs of moher, less then 2 minutes walk from the lahinch beach, lots of pubs only a minutes walk away, room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, staff were very friendly and discreet, breakfast was fantastic and served very quickly after our arrival both days. Ample parking available too and no issues leaving the car at the hotel for a few hours after checkout. Really enjoyed our stay here and hope to return.
