Papatzikos Traditional Guesthouse

Οι οικοδεσπότες ήταν φανταστικοί – μας έκαναν να αισθανθούμε σαν το σπίτι μας! Ήταν ευγενικοί και πρόθυμοι να βοηθήσουν σε κάθε τι, ακόμη και να μας μεταφέρουν ή να κουβαλήσουν τις αποσκευές. Υπέροχοι άνθρωποι.

Το μόνο αρνητικό – που δεν αφορά το κατάλυμα αλλά την περιοχή γενικά – είναι ότι ακούγεται πολύ δυνατή μουσική το βράδυ από κλαμπ, κάτι που δυσκολεύει τον ύπνο. Δυστυχώς επηρεάζει όλα τα σπίτια στον Μαρμαρά. Έχουν γίνει πολλές καταγγελίες από κατοίκους της περιοχής, αλλά οι αρμόδιες αρχές δεν έχουν λάβει ουσιαστικά μέτρα.

We stayed in an attic room with a large terrace. The terrace has two sun loungers and a table where you can enjoy your time. It gets sunlight for about two hours in the morning, but there is a special curtain for that on the terrace. The host is an amazing person and very kind and helpful. I will definitely come back again. On the check-in day, since we had luggage, he reserved the parking spot in front of the house for us.

If you have a large car, use the main road to get to the beach.

It was very very traditional, really an insight of how houses were in the past. This is not something you get to experience in a hotel.
