Yao Yai Beach Resort

The hotel location is perfect: right on the beach, nestled between several larger resorts and a quick walk to the Main Street where there’s a mini mart, massage places and several restaurant choices. Communication from the minute we booked was exceptional-questions were quickly answered and they couldn’t do enough to help us. The hotel is small, quiet and perfect to relax without hoards of people around. We loved our beach front room with pool access. The rooms were large and comfortable without being super fancy or modern. Food at the hotel restaurant was excellent. We just loved this place for its simplicity.

Absolutely loved our stay at Yao Yah Beach Resort! Fabulous location on the beach close to restaurants, bars, shops, minimart, laundry and massage places. Manager and staff were amazing so friendly and accommodating. We were even given an upgrade on our room to the upstairs pool room with balcony view which was sensational! Rooms were spotlessly clean too. We loved the free paddle board and kayak .

Great location and great staff, we chose to stay at Yao Yai beach Resort because of the ocean view rooms and we weren’t disappointed, we could lay in our bed or sit on the patio and see the ocean and the boats sailing along it was really mesmerizing to watch, we also had a few dinners at the resort and the food was good, we opted for the pick up and return that the hotel provided and I think it was worth it, the only problem we had was the WiFi and I don’t think it was the hotel problem because we been experiencing it through out Thailand even at five star hotels in Bangkok, I would recommend Yao Yai beach resort and if I ever return to Yao Yai Island I would definitely stay here again.

It was right on the beach.

I thought it was a bit overpriced. The room smelt mouldy when we walked in which wasn’t great.
