A piece of paradise

I was here 20 years-ish ago when traveling alone. When I went back to Koh Tao with family, Sensi was the natural place to stay. Jungle vibe place with very friendly staff, nice pool and beach and serene restaurant.

Overpriced for what it is.

Lovely bungalows and gardens. Nice swimming pool and great service. Well connected to the pier if you walk on the beach.

Very noisy area due to the port. My bungalow was on the top of the hill and difficult to find (there was no clear signage). In general I found it overpriced for what it has to offer. I got a last minute booking discount but if I had to pay for the full high season price I wouldn’t have been happy. It’s a lovely resort but not exceptional.

Great sea views and snorkeling right from our room

Very special resort !! Easy walk to private beach, excellent service at the restaurant with friendly staff. Some of our best snorkeling was right in front of the resort ! Best of all our rooms had a large porch with great view and 2 large beds where we enjoyed watching the sunrises, sunsets and boats coming in and out of the port. Great swimming pool with multi-tiers. Close to the main beach but far enough away to feel very peaceful.

Wonderful setting close to Ko Tao's main town

Gorgeous huts in beautiful setting from where it is easy to walk into town. Lovely staff, especially the porters and the restaurant staff, who were truly excellent with my children. Shuttle service to the ferries which was very helpful.

My husband would have liked gym facilities.

Nice location, better places on the island

Great location right on the beachfront and free shuttle service to and from the pier was a plus. Great breakfast included also, overlooking the sea. Staff at breakfast were great, and also assisting with luggage.

Could be cleaner, and very overpriced for the facilities, needs updating to justify the price point. We had an issue with our safe for the entire stay and had to get staff to come and open it for us 3 times before giving up and not being able to use it. After they came in to fix it the first time, they left it open with all our valuables inside and our cabin unlocked! We also had to ask twice for our room to be made up despite having the sign on all day.

Great pool area. Enjoyed watching the ferry boats come in whilst sitting on the beach. Friendly staff. Walkable to Sairee -20 mins, but a few nice restaurants within 5 mins. Goodtimes beach bar very close and great for lunch.

Breakfast was disappointing. Hot food very sparse and no cold buffet options of cheese, hams etc. Ok for just fruit and toast. Limited hanging and storage space for clothes in our cabin. Weak water pressure. Temperamental air-conditioning and WiFi. No wine list despite there being a large wine display cabinet. House wine wasn’t drinkable (Shame as evening food nice). Very steep steps to cabin and some poorly maintained communal walkways & steps- not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Nice resort style, with cabins overlooking the beach. Staff is amazing and accommodating. Fair size rooms.

Over priced for the services they provide. Breakfast is way below par. For that price you'd think that your morning cappuccino would be included, but they charge for that. Most other places do not. The "beach access" is deceiving since the small patch of beach the have is off the restaurant. Cabins doors barely close and toilet sometimes works sometime doesn't.

Jungle resort at the beach walking distance to the town

Amazing resort!! Even good coffee from the machine for extra $. There is beach access right at the hotel and you can walk a little path right to the village. It’s amazing ! The pool area is beautiful. They have mosquito nets which gave me a good sleep. :)

The pool was magnificent.

Far from the centre, the beach is mediocre, the facilities are old and basic at most. There were ants in the breakfast buffet and tables so we couldn't eat.

Love this place and want to come back

We love everything here! Best location, you can walk from the pier. We used their free pick up service from the pier, which is great because at first we didn't know the area. Once we got the room which is a bungalow with nice design and facing the sea, we really love the room. Then we walked around the area. Along the way from tbe resort to the pier, there are clothing shops, cafés, restaurants, diving tours offices, local grocery stores. Staffs are friendly, helpful, and professional Don't miss Moo Kra Ta at the resort's restaurant!

There was one night, a party nearby was super loud until midnight. I couldn't sleep, I thought about go join the party instead of sleeping! 🤣 You can check the dates first, which days there's party nearby. I saw posters, there's timetable for parties, and it doesn't happen eveyday.

Jungle tree house vibes.

The room was very comfortable and we loved the huge deck. Nice products in the bathroom too. The staff were very lovely especially Ko, Zar and Pi. Really good breakfast options.

Breakfast had a good selection Bungalows had a beautiful forest setting with stunning sea views and located on the beachfront with walking distance into the town with all shops, bars and restaurants. 7/11 close by. Hotel offers free transfers Staff and service were amazing!! They take great care of you! Free kayaks in the beach for guests to use. Rooms were very clean and well equipped.

Very nice resort, give the feeling of intimacy. Nice views for the sea view room. Great breakfast. Lots of options in the area: bike rental and scuba shops on the premises, walking distance from pier and more lively area.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Had to Leave After One Night

We booked 4 nights at Sensi Paradise Beach Resort in a “Superior House” but had to leave after just one night due to the unacceptable condition of the bungalow. It was in extremely poor condition: moldy, dirty, clearly not maintained, with holes in the floor, a moldy fridge, and dead insects still stuck to the bathroom walls. The air inside was so musty and moldy. The bungalow looked nothing like the photos shown on Booking.com and felt more like an abandoned hut at the far edge of the property. We immediately raised our concerns with the staff, but no solution was offered – no room change, no upgrade, and frankly, no one seemed to care about the situation. We paid over EUR 400 for 4 nights and received no compensation, refund, or even a response to our follow-up messages. I’ve stayed in many places throughout my life—including several low-budget hostels—but I have never experienced anything as disappointing as this, especially given the price. Very disappointing experience, both in terms of cleanliness and customer service. Sadly, we cannot recommend this resort.

Great family rooms.

The hotel was close to the pier. Staff were friendly. The bungalows were handy for a family with 2 separate rooms. The bungalows were clean and spacious set in the jungle. Breakfast had lots of options for both adults and children.

If you’re wary of bugs I maybe wouldn’t pick these bungalows. We liked the geckos etc but the bathroom did have a few ants / bugs. It didn’t bother us but might be a problem if you don’t like bugs. There were however some beautiful big geckos on the outside of the bungalow and we saw lots of butterflies.

Such friendly staff! The hotel is quite pretty and located very close to the center. Breakfast was fantastic and with a great view. Only downside would be that if you stay in one of the rooms uphill it’s a bit steep to walk to the breakfast area, but not too bad.

Wish our bungalow was closer to the water , our original bungalow was but it faced the neighbors enormous blue plastic water tanks do we opted to swap to an older one further away up the hill … it was nice but at least they were flexible to help us
