Ko Tao resort

Nice resort style, with cabins overlooking the beach. Staff is amazing and accommodating. Fair size rooms.

Over priced for the services they provide. Breakfast is way below par. For that price you'd think that your morning cappuccino would be included, but they charge for that. Most other places do not. The "beach access" is deceiving since the small patch of beach the have is off the restaurant. Cabins doors barely close and toilet sometimes works sometime doesn't.

Disappointing experience

The pool was magnificent.

Far from the centre, the beach is mediocre, the facilities are old and basic at most. There were ants in the breakfast buffet and tables so we couldn't eat.

Love this place and want to come back

We love everything here! Best location, you can walk from the pier. We used their free pick up service from the pier, which is great because at first we didn't know the area. Once we got the room which is a bungalow with nice design and facing the sea, we really love the room. Then we walked around the area. Along the way from tbe resort to the pier, there are clothing shops, cafés, restaurants, diving tours offices, local grocery stores. Staffs are friendly, helpful, and professional Don't miss Moo Kra Ta at the resort's restaurant!

There was one night, a party nearby was super loud until midnight. I couldn't sleep, I thought about go join the party instead of sleeping! 🤣 You can check the dates first, which days there's party nearby. I saw posters, there's timetable for parties, and it doesn't happen eveyday.

Jungle tree house vibes.

The room was very comfortable and we loved the huge deck. Nice products in the bathroom too. The staff were very lovely especially Ko, Zar and Pi. Really good breakfast options.

The mosquitos! But that’s unavoidable. Citronella insence on the deck really helped.

Lovely peaceful setting on the beach surrounded by trees

Breakfast had a good selection Bungalows had a beautiful forest setting with stunning sea views and located on the beachfront with walking distance into the town with all shops, bars and restaurants. 7/11 close by. Hotel offers free transfers Staff and service were amazing!! They take great care of you! Free kayaks in the beach for guests to use. Rooms were very clean and well equipped.

Lovely cabin type room overlooking the sea. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Restaurant was very good, my Thai wife approved of the Thai dishes on the menu. The catch of the day dishes particularly good.

Very nice resort, give the feeling of intimacy. Nice views for the sea view room. Great breakfast. Lots of options in the area: bike rental and scuba shops on the premises, walking distance from pier and more lively area.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Had to Leave After One Night

We booked 4 nights at Sensi Paradise Beach Resort in a “Superior House” but had to leave after just one night due to the unacceptable condition of the bungalow. It was in extremely poor condition: moldy, dirty, clearly not maintained, with holes in the floor, a moldy fridge, and dead insects still stuck to the bathroom walls. The air inside was so musty and moldy. The bungalow looked nothing like the photos shown on Booking.com and felt more like an abandoned hut at the far edge of the property. We immediately raised our concerns with the staff, but no solution was offered – no room change, no upgrade, and frankly, no one seemed to care about the situation. We paid over EUR 400 for 4 nights and received no compensation, refund, or even a response to our follow-up messages. I’ve stayed in many places throughout my life—including several low-budget hostels—but I have never experienced anything as disappointing as this, especially given the price. Very disappointing experience, both in terms of cleanliness and customer service. Sadly, we cannot recommend this resort.

Great family rooms.

The hotel was close to the pier. Staff were friendly. The bungalows were handy for a family with 2 separate rooms. The bungalows were clean and spacious set in the jungle. Breakfast had lots of options for both adults and children.

If you’re wary of bugs I maybe wouldn’t pick these bungalows. We liked the geckos etc but the bathroom did have a few ants / bugs. It didn’t bother us but might be a problem if you don’t like bugs. There were however some beautiful big geckos on the outside of the bungalow and we saw lots of butterflies.

The huts were clean and tidy. House keeping was daily and there is also a option to sit on verandah with fan if you are not wanting air conditioning

Authentic feel In a good location. It was ok for 3nts. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Such friendly staff! The hotel is quite pretty and located very close to the center. Breakfast was fantastic and with a great view. Only downside would be that if you stay in one of the rooms uphill it’s a bit steep to walk to the breakfast area, but not too bad.

Wish our bungalow was closer to the water , our original bungalow was but it faced the neighbors enormous blue plastic water tanks do we opted to swap to an older one further away up the hill … it was nice but at least they were flexible to help us

Beautiful place to stay.

The bungalow overlooking the sea was beautiful. The balcony was so nice to relax on. Loved the feeling of being in the jungle with the noises of geckos and frogs. The air con was also very good. We loved the canopy over the bed to protect us from mozzies too. The staff were very helpful and organised anything we wanted. We were able to hire a scooter on site too. A must do is the snorkelling trip organised through the resort. We did it twice.

The breakfast was not very good compared to other places we stayed in during our travels in Thailand.

I'd love to visit again

Upon my arrival at the resort, I was initially skeptical, fearing that it wouldn't meet my expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the room. It was really charming and inviting, very comfortable bed, and super calming. The two pools are great, although I did not use them as much. The resort is much less ‘fancy’ or ‘luxurious' than I had anticipated, but in a good way, this was actually a positive aspect for me. I appreciated the quietness and the resort's distance from busy areas, making my stay more enjoyable than I had initially thought. The staff is great!

Really beautiful hotel, you might want to ask for a beach front room as it make it all worth it.

The hotel is super clean and tidy, staff is very sweet and helpful. The room was equipped with anything, including umbrellas, a beach bag, and two sarong (I ended up purchasing one!). I also used the laundry service which was great and super fast. The pool is beautiful and relaxing although not sure how the bar service worked.

My room was up in the trees, which wasn't very clear from the description on Booking. I had to go up concrete steps first and then wooden steps, quite steep and I would have appreciated been made aware about it. Somebody with movement difficulties cannot use that room. Also, wildlife is quite active at night, meaning I didn't have a quiet night in my whole stay. I would have also appreciated this being specified in the hotel description as I might have chosen a different hotel. The restaurant is ok, breakfast is ok but nothing mind-blowing. There are better and cheaper restaurants, also for breakfast, just outside the hotel.

Pretty but we had no access to facilities when we wanted them

Beautiful pool.

The hotel closed the pool bar, without notice, at 3pm. They also closed the restaurant to guests because there was an event. This meant there was no food or drinks available for guests from 3pm onwards. Worst still, they’ve lied about this to booking.com when I raised a complaint. Shameful.
